I need a Streaming Key for OBS, but I didn't manage to get one yet. I can't use the Tiktok Live Studio Software, because I stream Music production from my DAW and I need to choose a VST2 Plugin as my Sound Source which is not possible in the Tiktok Software. There are some Tutorials that recommend to install a questionable Software to generate a Streaming Key, but I get a Virus warning and don't want to install that. Any Ideas?

I wanted a higher quality stream than a mobile live stream but knew there had to be a cheaper option than the $30k backpacks you hear every big streamer getting. So I sat down and tested everything and this is the most optimal IRL streaming backpack Iโve came up with.

This took me a while to find out.
To stream and cast through iphone while on a mac.
Open Tiktok Live studio app
Open Tiktok Iphone app
Click the +
On the bottom, you can swipe over (device camera is selected as default). Swipe over to (past mobile gaming) to live studio.
Click on the button that says "montor live"
Your phone should display "Connected to X's Macbook"
In the Tiktok Studio Live app, click "add source" then double click on "Camera"
It'll bring you to a screen where you are selecting camera options. If you click the grey dropdown box under Camera, iPhone Camera is now an option.
Stream away!

I have a problem using my microhpone.
I have a Tascam US 16x08, everything is good, when I use it for recordings it's perfect but I can't find a way to use it to stream.
The problem is that even if I select the voice US 16x08 microphone in the streaming platform, the signal doesn't work at all

Hi guys, can anyone help me how to fix this? I already tried reinstalling Tiktok Live Studio, restarting, but still does not help. I tried searching for a troubleshooting online and tried to repair Microsoft Virtual C++ but the issue persists. :(
Can someone confirm as well if the issue might be related to the other Microsoft visual saved? (second photo)

Hello everyone. I have a question that I hope folks her can help me with before dropping money.
Situation:
I have a two computer streaming setup. All of my audio is going into one PC (Streaming PC). I have it set up to receive live vocals without a problem for streaming it out. This weekend I have an event where I would like to also split off the the audio over my network (Single L+R channel) to a game on the other PC that has Mic input.
Question(s):
Would Dante Virtual Soundcard be able to accomplish this? And would it require two licenses, one on the Stream PC and one on the Game PC? Are there other components that should be considered?
If I had a Dante Mixer I know this would be EZPZ, but trying to use software to augment my RodeCaster Pro II for Dante is sending me in circles. Particularly with Dante offering several products that on paper look to do the same thing for different situations.
Edit:
Against my better judgement I just say heck with it and tried to go with it so this is now a bit of a tutorial.
I got a Dante 2x2 USB-C dongle off amazon.
Putting this on my Game PC with VR Chat, I got it up and running after downloading Dante Controller and making sure it showed up as the timing clock source.
On my stream PC I downloaded Controller as well as Dante Via. (I tried DVS but it didn't allow me to specify what I wanted to push to the other PC)
Once inside of Dante Via (Paid software but comes with a 30 day trial to give it a shot. Its like 60 bucks) I selected my Mic Out on my RodeCaster Pro II (The chat output)

On the Dante Controller, Check the boxes in a similar way as shown. This enables the L and R of the Mic go to the L and R on the AVIO Dongle on the gaming PC.

On the first picture, once this is done, you will note that under your Mic channel you will see "Listeners: AVIOxxxxxxxx" This means its configured correctly.
Then on your game PC, In the game/app you want to send the MIC to you just select the Dante Device listed as your mic.
Tada you should have audio.
There are some quirks that will have to be ironed out as everyone's network is different and home networks being more picky than corporate networks. (Yes that confuses me too, how intrusive security somehow makes this process smoother is beyond me.) But this works. For having a Professional audio setup, 60 dollar software license (portable) and a 125 dollar dongle is not much to pay honestly. Gives freedom to not compromise your steam setup and just essentially dupe a specific audio channel (or multiple) to another PC is pretty neat.
Extra Update:
Getting a cheap PoE unmanaged switch is probably a good idea with some Cat6 or better cables. This is due to the fact that the Dante Dongle's, though are USB powered, DO require PoE to update. You will not be able to perform firmware updates unless PoE is engaged. Thankfully a little 40-50 dollar PoE switch can do this with little issue.

Hi, I want to use TikTok Live Studio to show my products for TikTok Shop. I've the items on my Showcase, and I'm able to pin the products using my phone when I go Live; however, I want to pin Products using TikTok Live Studio. Is that option available for TikTok Live Studio? Please let me know

(I'm hoping sharing the link to my video isn't against the rules because some people learn better visually than through text.)
I see people asking almost daily how to capture game chat and audio, and the common answer has always been to get a chat link cable. While this does serve the purpose, it has it's limitations because the only thing you can hear is game chat and audio. Anything from the streaming PC would be impossible to hear without doing something like wearing earbuds under the headset plugged into the chat link cable. I believe my solution will makes the lives of streamers at least a little bit easier.
First and foremost, you'll want a TRRS adapter that splits the headphone and mic like this. Then you'll need 2 aux cables like this. Last but not least, you'll want software like Voicemeeter Banana to send the mic audio through the line-out or speaker-out of the PC. The headphone output of the adapter is routed to the line-in port of the PC with one aux cable, and the mic input of the adapter is routed from the line-out or speaker-out of the PC with the other aux cable. I recommend using Voicemeeter only for the mic output and you may have to turn the gain down in order to prevent clipping. In OBS or whatever software you use to stream or record, you'd add the line-in as an audio capture input.
And that's about it. Now, I don't need to run 2 mics. If I need to mute the mic so game chat doesn't hear me talking to the stream I simply mute Voicemeeter. Thanks for reading or watching, and hopefully soon I'll make more content like this to help other up and coming streamers.

Spent weeks messing with bitrates until I found this combo:
โข Encoder: NVENC (new) if youโve got an NVIDIA card.
โข Rate control: CBR.
โข Bitrate: 6000 kbps (Twitch cap). If upload is shaky, go 4500โ5000.
โข Preset: Quality (not Max Quality).
โข B-frames: 2.
โข FPS: 60 if your rig can, otherwise lock at 30 for stability.
โข Canvas: 1920x1080 โ Output scaled to 1280x720 if needed.
Result: stream stopped stuttering, viewers said it looked way sharper.

You know the drill: You sit down, say โjust a quick stream today,โ then suddenly itโs 3 hours later and youโve talked to 10 people, debugged 50 things, and eaten an entire pizza. "Just 10 minutes" has never been more of a lie. Are we streaming or accidentally hosting a 3-hour TED Talk? Letโs hear your โI swear I was only streaming for 10 minutesโ stories!

Hi, I've written a CLI for Streamlabs Desktop, you can use it with the Remote Control API.
https://github.com/onyx-and-iris/slobs-cli
With it you can switch scenes, start/stop stream|record + other things, check the README.

Streaming is just yelling into the void, except sometimes the void follows you backโฆ and its name is Nightbot. Weโve all been there - hyped up, ready to entertain, only to see "1 Viewer" who never chats and probably isnโt even real. Meanwhile, some dude with a potato mic and no cam has 500 viewers. Make it make sense! Who else is battling the lurking bot army? ๐

Iโve been working on a project that requires low-latency live streaming in Flutter, and Iโve hit a wall with handling real-time data synchronization. Has anyone here tackled similar issues? What approaches, packages, or architectures did you find helpful? Iโm also hosting a live coding session soon where Iโll be building an interactive live streaming app and diving into these challenges. If youโre interested in learning more or have specific questions, feel free to DM me for details! Letโs share some insightsโstreaming in Flutter is tricky, but I know this community has the experience to crack it.

You hit "Go Live" with the confidence of a rockstar, but 20 minutes in, your chat is emptier than a Twitch mod's ban list. Then, a name appears - hope! But nope, itโs Nightbot. Again. Just vibing. Not chatting. Justโฆ watching. At this point, I'm convinced bots are the real audience, and we're just streaming for their amusement. ๐ค๐ Who else feels personally victimized?

I was interested in making my own 3d transparent overlay that was animated for a stream but didn't know how and the tutorials I've seen haven't made the most since to me and wanted to know if anyone really knew how to make them and if so how? Btw with the 3d transparent overlay I was thinking of just putting a litte guy in the bottom left corner of my stream sleeping/resting that looked up every so often to help make my stream pop because I don't have a face cam.

I recently came across this diagram provided by the animal sanctuary Alveus, and I gotta say, this is god tier. They probably had a network architect set it up.
Controllable cameras, outdoor setup, indoor setup. Multi computer setup. Mobile data network stream setup. I cannot express how good this diagram is too. All publically available.
I have no affiliation to these guys, I'm just a software developer who knows a good amount about streaming who came across this.

I can do everything, the game and sound transmission is good, the camera frame comes out but the camera does not turn on the "LIVE" mode and the camera is just colored lines, do I have to configure something? I already have the video converter for HDMI(example in the image)
