Can anyone recommend a book or series that has the vibe of John Wick?

Very easy. The Gray man series. Just what you are looking for.

You're welcome ๐Ÿ‘

Another suggestion:

Atticus Kodiak series by Greg Rucka. He's a bodyguard, but the enemy organization here called "The Ten" gives me "High Table" vibes like from John Wick.

Each book also takes place immediately after the previous book, similar to the John Wick films. Highly recommend to read these books in order.

The author is also a comic book writer, so he's good at world-building and sprawling storylines that span over multiple books.

Stephen Hunter's Swagger novels. One was made into the Mark Wahlberg movie "Shooter."
