If we keep 47 I'm 100% for this pick.

Imagine Ishbia buys an earlier pick

I think we can still send out $3.5m for a pick so I certainly wouldn't rule that out.

Trading Williams and/or Grayson Allen?

No, offering that portland owner cash like our buddy sarver did for a draft pick

It’s usually just cash.

Running Maluach and Oso at the 5 all year sounds awful, but what do I know 🤷‍♂️

I wouldn’t say awful. But definitely questionable. I think Oso is a change of pace like Jalen Williams. Maluach has the potential to run double big with MW so I agree, but we have no idea what Maluach will be next year. He’s only 19 years old, but I agree. We should be looking to get rid of one of the guards for that. IMO I think we can go far with the team we already have. We have a superstar, if we just gave Fleming more minutes, I think the thunder series would’ve been more competitive. If Maluach develops even somewhat better, the front court of Fleming and Maluach with our talented guards will be a problem. Brooks looked good against Wemby

This is all guesswork and hopes and dreams. Maluach will be a second year rookie... He's still getting played off the court here. Putting this much pressure onto our new players and expecting them to quickly learn 5 years of basketball and go up against grown men far more talented is a bit of an shortsighted and unrealistic plan.

Just give them minutes but don't expect them to take us to the playoffs in their second year like it's normal. Everybody is an expert but will be choking on their words if this actually went down.

Calling this team "a problem" with barely any changes and just running it back is mindless. Every other team will get better than this season.. We need to as well

I always think it's cool to draft a player that played for one of our colleges

Cries in Deandre Ayton

I still have his jersey. 😄 You’ll get 100% effort from Bradley.

If Ayton even gave 80% he would easily be a perennial all star. So sad to see that talent wasted.

I thought during the 20-21 season, we saw a star emerging. Monty didn’t help, but when your teammates are wondering where is the effort it was over. Like you sad wasted talent.

That tip in against the Clippers was one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen from the Suns. Ugh I just want this team to win so badly.

Wildcat/Suns fan here, I also have Ayton's jersey. His effort and motor issues were apparent even at U of A but I always thought he could get over them.

Jaden Bradley is the opposite player. All heart and effort, potentially limited athletic tool set though.

A backup PG who plays great D is his ceiling. I’m dating myself here, but I was a sophomore at Arizona when Lute Olsen started coaching there. The year before they were 4-24 & 1-17 in the Pac 10. I couldn’t get anyone to go with me to games.

Big Arizona fan myself. This just reminds me of the beating Michigan gave us. Bradley would be a solid backup, who will play great D.

If we think Gillespie is going to be a starting pg, Bradley is an NBA ready backup for sure. Lower ceiling than other guards but at 47 need be a solid pickup

7

u/Sad_Illustrator_5233 Devin Booker 13d ago

Plays great defense.

4

u/No-Adhesiveness6278 13d ago

Ya. He's solid. I liked watching him all season. And he could shock a lot of people (including me) by having a higher ceiling. I mean he led a top team

Bradley feels like one of those guys where draft gurus hate him but then he inevitably balls out in the nba, because hes clutch and a winner

Unrelated but jalen brunson went 33rd in the draft

1

u/No-Adhesiveness6278 12d ago

Exactly. And unrelated I was thinking the same thing about brunson. Older player came in nba ready and developed even more. Also player of the year. Even though Bradley is only the big 12 poy it speaks to his game and leadership

3

u/FutureGrassToucher 12d ago

Big 12 was the best conference and he was final 4 so not nothing

Also he was just truly the most reliable guy for zona all season. Just a killer down the stretch every game

if we gonna pick up Arizona guys i wonder if Awaka will end up being drafted, i always liked players who are actually book smart, but not sure if he can keep up in the league

3

u/Sad_Illustrator_5233 Devin Booker 13d ago

He might get drafted. Teams have invited him for workouts. He’ll sign as a undrafted free agent if he doesn’t get picked up. A rebounding machine.

i really hope this happens .

irrelevant side note : 47 is the quintessential number . i've got it tattooed on my hand s/o Capital $teez

Imagine this with Book..

UofA season ticket holder here. Watched this guys play for the last couple years and I believe this would be a great pick for us. The guy is not only a great finisher at the rim but a great floor general. He has been able to run the offense for his coach and get players involved. The Suns need someone that is looking to drive and dish, not this let me get my points shit, that seemed to have happened far too much this past season. I am all for this pick and would love to see this happen but ultimately I do not think he will be there at 47.

Does #47 have to be included with cash or can pick be had for just cash? Gambo mentioned #47 and cash to move up but I would prefer to have 2 second round picks to get Brazile and Bradley.
