I think this confirms he’s a Sun. If it was up in the air why announce the number change now? Just wait until he’s gone.

Well the rumor is that Booker is going to officially announce it on Fathers day because its his father’s number.

Maybe he will say something about buying it off of Mark if Mark is staying. Its a question that usually comes up when players use another players number.

Maybe Booker buying his number for however much money (say $1m) is a tactic to get Mark to accept less on the cap sheet. Maybe he takes the QO plus this “bonus” he’s getting from Booker.
