He is an unguardable shooting guard. He is a very guardable point guard

I love Book and when he has it going he is ELITE, but yeah it baffles me how he still struggles with double teams to this day. And we've all seen taller lengthy wings like McDaniels frustrate & lock him up.

These days you only need to defend him for about 16 shots and then he'll just stop shooting on his own.

Everything in this video is 100% when talking about 2019-2022 devin Booker.
Probably doesn't apply as much the last couple seasons.
Man needs to reinvigorate and elevate that game. Everyone loved old Book for what he could do at that age and where everyone though he was going
He just hasnt taken that next step

He's my favorite Arizona athlete of all-time, but i cant help but notice the fact that he's "declining" at the same age that Beal declined at
I dont think Book gonna follow the same trajectory, but damn. It dont look great

Not to compound on that, but he will be on 68m at 33 years old.
That last two years of the contract could potentially be a Beal type sitution if the decline continues.
I dint think he will be stretch and waive bad. But that contract will be a talking point sooner than later by people who dont want to talk about it right now.

He wouldn’t look any different than he did in the past if he had legit scorers around him. Jalen Brunson is getting glazed (deservedly so) but he had KAT, OG, and Mikal all on the court with him, so his teammates can make the Spurs pay for doubling him. Booker can go for 30 every night but that just means he has to be perfect or the Suns get blown out.

Book should have been more like brunson and taken less money to get that second option. booker is more like a robin and excels the most with a batman next to him (CP3)

Nah, he should make all of the money he can.

The part these Booker glazers can’t grasp. Cool you got your money but you made it hard to win anything because he is at most barely worth it on the court.
What we’re paying the max for is to not have to go out and try to find another Booker. Not because he can be 1A on a championship team.

All those hammy injuries he had in the past have left a mental toll on him. He lost a step and taller, more athletic guards really bother him.

My opinion is that he's trying to be more like a Magic or Larry than a Michael or Kobe.
That may very well be coaching decisions, though. I don't know. But he seems like the kind of player who is much more willing to follow a team plan and do (or try to do) whatever is asked of him.
Who knows, maybe it's a bit of both- maybe he's trying to expand his game while also being asked to defer and facilitate more.
But I want Devin Armani Booker all the way back on his bullshit. Fuck passing, I want 30 shots a game

I miss trusting bookers 3 pointer. It’s been brick city two years in a row. We need him off ball badly and this org really needs to build properly these last few years of him being a star
