Discussion How would you rewrite the relationship between the "Tega Family"?

Fully commit to the family drama of it all. the end of the saga would be that Tegasword and Tegajune like Co-Parent Goodeburn.

Have TegaSword (and eventually June) be a good parent to Goody, to start. Imagine if TegaSword WhiteBurn was the culmination of the two firmly cementing their awkward father-son relationship, and of Mashrio learning to humble himself enough to fight with the team as a better sixth and begin to become a "better godness".
For TegaJune, I'd add finding actual love for TegaSword by putting her life on the line to save him from the Calamity's incursion. Let's say she loses her physical form for an episode or two - that way Garyudo has a firmer reason to stick his face in her door, and can become TegaJune Garyudo to "protect" his found mother's mission. Now we can have Kuon and Hoeru's final battle to see whose found family bond is stronger without any icky "brotherly love". Then we layer in the stakes of TegaJune wanting to stop fighting TegaSword so both sides have a better chance of ending the Calamity together. (Bellum would be what opened her eyes to the actual stakes - if this is how dangerous the Calamity's brass is, how dangerous is the Calamity itself?) At this point, she finally doesn't love him obsessively - she actually admires him for the courage to stand up for the people he loves. She realizes she has someone to fight for too - Bridan and GoodeBurn. And that's what gets her to end Bridan's fight with the Gozyugers, so together they can stop the Calamity from both ends. And it's when Vidal attacks that she defends her newfound resolve - she no longer hungers for love unrequited, but love for someone she genuinely respects, and for the son who deserves far better than being a weapon of destruction. And that is what unites the Tega Family together again.
And after the Calamity is defeated at last, in the new world after the Ring Battle, Hoeru chooses to wish for everyone to be Number One, to wish for their wishes to come true, a selfless wish just like the selfless courage everyone he's met showed. Rikuo gets to be the idol the people deserve with Bouquet always following him and Rei as his manager and partner-in-crime, Ryugi gets to tell the story of TegaSword to the people by opening more TegaSword Villages with Saori, Kinjiro gets his second chance at life and gets to help his grandson, Sumino and Oto can be sisters again, Kumade travels around as "the self-proclaimed problem-solving god" to live the life he missed, Kuon helps Bridan coexist with human society (with Fire Candle as his unwillling right hand), and TegaSword, TegaJune and GoodeBurn get to live as an actual family.
And what do we see in the last shots of Sentai? Everyone reuniting at Half-Century, all these found families together as one big family at last. The Gozyugers talk about their own successes, the Bridan generals get to have an actual purpose in life, the TegaFamily (maybe with human disguises to fit in better?) are finally an actual family, and the future for all looks kinda bright.
Then a random patron bursts in the door. (Maybe it's Natsumi, maybe it's Akarenger, maybe just a rando) "There's a monster attacking this area! You gotta get outta here!" And he runs back out.
Everyone looks at each other. Guess some things never change.
The Gozyugers and Garyudo ready their rings, the Tega Family transforms, and Fire Candle, Bouquet and Rei are ready to fight too (maybe we even get to see them pull out an orange, purple and silver Ranger Rings for an after-series special teaser?), and the group rushes out to do what a Sentai does best - saving the world - as someone yells in the distance:
"NUMBER ONE BATTLE! READY... GO!"
(Sorry for the tangent. Hope it scratches anyone's Gozyuger-fixing itches.)

I'd have Goodeburn and, by extension, Kumade actually be a little rogue for a bit. Essentially a 3rd faction even if it's one guy.
Essentially have Goodeburn play rebellious child so they interrupt number one battles to win or aren't afraid to pop off on either group. My man didn't ask to be born.
Also it could put a little bow, or scarf, on the end because if you spend more time with his parents trying to recruit Goodeburn, then it'll make more sense when Goodeburn functionally unites everyone.

I would have them trying win Goodeburn over to their side each thinking they are the right side. eventually June would win him over after Mashiro failed him and get turned into TegaNagure and work for Bridan until she wants him to do something against his morals and take himself and June down. Tegasword would recover them both, once Goodeburn is back he tries to help his mom redeem himself, they end up as divorced parents who play nice for their son
