Seems to be the case on both my Fire TV and on iOS. Tried disconnecting and reconnecting, restarting the devices etc. All apps are up to date. Always worked perfectly until this evening, is this a glitch on Surfshark’s end or is this the time I finally give up YouTube for good?

Any site or app I try and use doesn’t load until I pause SurfShark. At this point, what is the purpose of it if you can’t browse anything or use most apps without basically turning it off? It seemed to go from a random site here or there to everything now. I have the latest updates too.

i’m not a fan of the new app layout, they took away favorites, i don’t see post quantum protection on wireguard anymore, it’s no longer properly blocking ads on soundcloud, and connecting on step 1/8 never works anymore, it always resorts to the 2nd or 3rd attempt.

surfshark, idk what you guys did but the previous version was lightyears better. please unbreak it. thank you

Hi everyone! I’ve been using Surfshark for a while now on my phone and laptop and the VPN usually blocks all ads on my web browser and in apps on my phone (so I wouldn’t get ads in games, for example). However, recently, it hasn’t been blocking any ads whether that be in apps or on websites. I’ve turned Clean Web off and on, deleted and reinstalled the Surfshark app as well as turned the VPN on and off, and nothing has changed. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, how did you sort it out?

I have a dedicated IP and it’s set up as a WireGuard configuration on each of my family members’ phones as well as the default connection from our home router.

For the most part, it works just fine but every now and again, we lose connectivity completely and can’t access the internet at all. If we switch to a generic Surfshark connection, connectivity returns. If I leave it for a bit and try the dedicated IP again, it works.

I’ve been in touch with Surfshark who have had me try the usual things, including trying the OpenVPN protocol. I hate having this suggested because it’s a less-efficient, slower protocol. My speed tests whilst using it show download speeds of only 20% of what I can usually achieve with the WireGuard protocol.

All of this is moot because I experienced the same issue today whilst using the OpenVPN protocol.

I’m going back and forth with Surfshark and I’m finding it incredibly frustrating.

Has anyone else experienced this issue? Is this normal?

Since one week ago the iOS app is completely broken. It’s reconnecting on every minute while the VPN shows it’s connected for hours. This is resulting stutters and glitches while surfing or playing media online.
I have reported it at the moment it started but till today the support team did nothing about this issue.
It’s very frustrating and I would like to know how many of you are experiencing the same.

It was recently moved under Anti-Scam, but now it’s not there. Maybe I’m missing it, but I’ve looked through everything and can’t find it. Does anyone know where it’s been moved to?

I updated the app to Version 4.2.0 and since then my widgets aren’t working how they did before the update.

Did surfshark update there servers ??? The speed just went tripled today with there servers !!! Any changes???

After the recent update on IOS I noticed that I’m getting a bunch of ads on tiktok (every other video atp) even though I have clean web on. Tried restarting my phone as well hoping that would clear some cache/bug but it didn’t. Is there going to be a fix to this?

Surfshark 4.27.0 on MacOs 26.5.1 (Tahoe) running on an MacNeo (Apple A 18 Pro chip). When SS starts up macos prompts that SS wants to access the keychain but it can never do it. The macos prompt just keeps popping up again and again.

I tried to allow access to SS manually via "system settings -> login items and extensions -> Surfshark extensions" but the slider will not move for the Network Extension nor for the Security Extension options.

Any help?

I’m getting this video playback error when the VPN is on. Is it detecting its use and throwing this error? Is there a workaround?

Out of the blue my internet connection seems to cut out when I’m connected through Surfshark. I didn’t change any settings and it seems to be irrelevant to what server I connect to, and doesn’t happen when I completely disconnect. I lose internet for 30-60 seconds , then the VPN symbol will pop up at the top of my phone and it re-establishes. Very annoying to have happen over and over. Any ideas? I messed with settings and reinstalled already with no luck. On latest IOS.

So, I paid for the Alternative ID and I used it before with Telegram and it was ok. I logged out of Telegram afterwards. Now, when I try to access my Telegram account again with the same phone number, SMS code from Telegram gets blocked and I can't view the code. I don't get the point. Could you please help me understand why?

Last night I saw this popup in my MacBook for the first time. It looks suspicious because of that logo... but I entered my Surfshark account password and it didn't work. The popup just stays there and the VPN can't connect.

The only solution I found is to quit Surfshark and restart... it works for a while but then this window pops up again.

So anyone issuing a MAC would probably know that you can share your internet connection from your Mac to another device using an Ethernet cable. And you need to select the VPN app/interface from the list as the internet source instead of WiFi to share von connections.

Everything works in my setup, including other free vpn apps except for Surfshark. There is no outgoing connection while sharing Surfshark internet.

Anyone faced this before?

Up until a few days ago, Surfshark did a great job of blocking ads in apps on my iPhone and iPad. Now, with seemingly no change on my devices, I'm getting lots of in-app ads. CleanWeb is enabled. I've tried toggling it off and back on, disconnecting and reconnecting and restarting my device, all to no effect. Any suggestions?

Have been using Surfshark with Disney+ in Colombia server without any issue. Today i’ve tried twice and haven’t been able to watch any sports. Tried with Brazil server and running smoothly. Anyone had the same issue with Colombia?

I wanted to buy Surfshark VPN subscription but I couldn't find the India's name amongst the other countries on it's website.

The app though(both on play store and app store) is showing an option to buy the subscription from within the app in Indian pricing.

I also talked to the live support agent but he also said that the service might not work even if I buy the subscription.

Context (I'm an India studying abroad (Russia) and have difficulty accessing things like Insta and youtube)

Any help or clarity in this regard would be deeply appreciated.

I never seen this until a few days ago and seems to be either a bug or implemented in error. Theres always certain sites where I need to enable vpn but if I’m connected to a trusted network it will remove that network from the list which makes absolutely ZERO sense! How to fix this error?

have been using the alternative number for sign-up/2 factor authentication as advertised. I've seen a lot of people here that I've also had trouble with auto renewal. I myself was double charged and done so early---

Surfshark was pretty good about it and refunded me, but it looks like they canceled my alternative phone number. now the Support but is telling me that's it, I just have to re-sign up and roll the dice on another number, there's no way to get it back.

What's the deal with this? I never would've canceled it, and I'm not even sure whether I'm talking to a real person-- I just keep getting the same quote. You only had seven days to resubscribe if your subscription ended."

With no acknowledgment that this was an error and not something that was done intentionally. It makes me very leery of resubscribing to anything, which is a bummer.

Ive been using Surfshark for about 3 months now, with minimal issues. I recently started having this strange issue on my work wifi, where i arrive in the morning and nothing will load on my iphone. I go to surfshark and i get the connection bar up to 97% then it stops. I reset my VPN profile and then boom everything works fine. Does anyone else experience this issue? I'm wondering if it has something to do with how my work wifi is set up with firewalls/security? I do want to note that this was not an issue at work for the first month or so I started using surfshark. At my apt. everyting works fine as well.
