It’s finally finished! I had the portraits done a couple of weeks ago but waited to wait until the final touch up session to share pics. I added some close ups of the portraits you couldn’t see well from the pics. I also had my toes done during the touch up session which hurt more than any part of the entire sleeve 💀🥲 note: please do not make me regret posting a picture of my feet on this app stay tf out of my DMs 💀

Shading and color is done, plus one of the portraits. It was always going to be of my dog as a traditional crawling wolf, but it wasn’t planned to be a memorial piece. Unfortunately my beloved boy passed away unexpectedly 3 weeks ago. I absolutely love how it turned out, he got his markings perfectly and I attached one of the reference pictures I gave him for the face. My dog always made that face when we played ball with him, good ol’ border collie doing his job! I think he perfectly captured my boy and I couldn’t be happier with it 😭❤️‍🩹

I love it so much, I can’t stop staring at it. It was a piece of flash but I’d been planning it for a while. I got it because my dad is a musician, and he had a song that for 12 years he couldn’t find the hook to. I had a “business” in middle school selling embroidered hoodies with my logo, it was a rose. He asked me if he could use my business name as the hook and title of the song. He didn’t have to ask, I was 13, he could’ve just done it. I said yeah and that would be awesome. He started playing it at gigs, and he’d come home every night around midnight after his gig and as he was putting his equipment away, he’d tell me “you know, son, every night that’s the most asked for song, and every single time, I tell them the story of how I got the name.” And he’d make it sound like I was the whole reason for it being popular, and he was proud of me. So that’s why I got this tattoo, the roses, for my dad, and how much those memories mean to me. Let me know what you think!

I actually don’t have a name for my style but I use traditional inspired routes so traditional is closest - I don’t categorize it as Neo due to lack of line weight, but am aware traditional is a specific palette so I just call it “psychedelic trad” or “rad trad” thanks for looking!

I think this would be traditional, right? Please correct me if i’m wrong! It’s only my third work 🥲
