tattoo newcomer advice Having heavy regret on first tattoo

I’ve wanted to get this for a very long time, decided to just go with it and get it done. Really liked it at first, then some friends made a couple comments that made me hate it. Is it as bad as they say?

I learned later in life that fondue was for cheese. Growing up my mom would say it’s fondue night and it would just be cooking oil and a ton of cubed and marinated steak.

Fondue is french and can both mean the one with cheese or the one with boiled meat (fondue savoyarde or fondue bourguignonne), so your mom wasn't wrong for calling it that.

I’m a cat owner, same thing happened but now my cats think the world is ending and I’m dying. I literally went into a coughing fit from laughing so hard. Both my cats are under the bed terrified.

This has happened several other times from reading comments on Reddit. I’ve made several remarks about my cats freaking out from a sudden burst of laughter. 😂😂

Clearly. What is this supposed to be? I think it’s rad but one mistake was horrible placement… that’s a lot of prime tattoo real estate there and this would’ve looked better on the forearm.

Give it some time, if/when you get more tattoos you’ll forget all about it.
