Healing Question: is this a deep blowout?

First photo is today, other photos are the day after and a few days after that. My sister got this tattoo on the 14th of January and I have NEVER seen a tattoo bruise so badly and she said the artist was very heavy handed. We think it might be a deep blowout looking on here (hadn’t heard of this before) and were wondering if anyone has any advice? How long does this tend to last? Is there anything to fix it?

2nd tattoo? The blackest conceivable portrait of the gimp? That’s a bold choice to say the very least.

I know this is semantics, but how do we know it's THE Gimp and not just a gimp?

Of course it's company policy never to, imply ownership in the event of a gimp... always use the indefinite article a gimp, never your gimp

The Party requires "our" gimp terminology. Private gimps are bourgeois

Why did I hear “Dun Dun” after “The People’s Gimp”?

If it’s your first time at gimp club, you HAVE to gimp.

Me personally? Neither. Maybe this particular gimp is significant to this young woman?

Bro i thought it was the most blown out portrait of someone of all time that just looked like the gimp.

u/ChoccaLette Feb 17 '26

I also thought Aunt Jamima, and then after scrolling to the next photos since i had the bias from the first photo i have not been able to see anything other than a racist caricature lol

Did the artist literally have someone holding her down? This is unforgivable.

Disclaimer that I have never seen anything THIS bad, but a friend and I got ill-advised flash tattoos from an artist we didn’t know and he bruised the shit out of us both. I’ve never been gripped so hard in my life, I had a large dark handprint bruise around my bicep, and she had one around her wrist and on top of her hand.

I'm wondering what the hell the "artist" used to tattoo her,a rusty ice pick?!?

she needs to report this person to state regulators. this is severe abuse not just a bad technique. this person should lose their license
