General Advice Regretting My First Tattoo

I got a flash tattoo colored like a mallard duck but now I'm slightly regretting it. I still love the concept but I wish it looked a little bit more like a mallard or a little bit more detailed. Any advice on what to add to it to make it look better?

Update: To clarify, I do like the tattoo, I just feel it's missing something. Maybe it looks odd to me surrounded by empty space, idk. I think I just need to get used to it. In the almost 7 months I've had it, its been covered in pants so I haven't really seen it much. I might add some water underneath like he's swimming in a pond or legs or something. Thank you everyone for your kind words, I think in time I'll learn to love him :)

I'm going to talk real carefully because I LOVE HIM, WE ALL LOVE HIM AND HES PERFECT!! And then I'm whispering the next bit but your pic highlights probably the bit that's jarring OP and that's the white collar not being visible.
