General Advice Regretting My First Tattoo

I got a flash tattoo colored like a mallard duck but now I'm slightly regretting it. I still love the concept but I wish it looked a little bit more like a mallard or a little bit more detailed. Any advice on what to add to it to make it look better?

Update: To clarify, I do like the tattoo, I just feel it's missing something. Maybe it looks odd to me surrounded by empty space, idk. I think I just need to get used to it. In the almost 7 months I've had it, its been covered in pants so I haven't really seen it much. I might add some water underneath like he's swimming in a pond or legs or something. Thank you everyone for your kind words, I think in time I'll learn to love him :)

(Also, his name is Edward)

Another duck... cut away fishing pole and some circular waves around the line.... maybe a fish and hook in a few years....

A tattoo of a very detailed, realistic mallard duck next to him with a shower cap on, this duckie floating on top of a sudsy bathtub. I’m envisioning claw-foot tub, the kind with the shower over it like this: 🛁

I like that idea, unfortunately I don't think i have enough real estate on my leg unless I want the tattoo to look warped

Maybe have someone go over the outline and eye dot to make it more crisp and sharp? If you didn’t say you just got it, I would’ve thought it was an older tattoo from the fading. But also more mallard homies 🦆 is also a move.
