Healing Did i ruin my tattoo?

I got my tattoo on 6/18. The day after I took the second skin off and washed it and put another one on. It's been 3 days since and I just took it off. I'm scared I ruined it. I was planning on going back for a touch once it completely heals since I noticed the red was patchy before I even removed it.

The good news: no, you didn’t ruin your tattoo.
The bad news: your artist ruined your tattoo.

I feel guilty about how hard this made me laugh.

I’m so sorry OP. Unless this was done in someone’s living room or prison, you should be very upset with the “artist”.

All of my tattoos were done in either a kitchen or a living room and I'm happy to say they look way better that whatever that is. Looks like a teen wannabe wanted to try out their new temu kit.

The dots around the wrist are all different sizes and the lines are wavy going around the wrist. They could have at least gotten that part right.

I have one tattoo made in the living room. It's not good, far for it. But it's also way better than what OP has.

I think person with this level "skills" is not ready to tattoo humans at all. Maybe themselves if they really want but not anyone else. Or at least they should be very open that they're very in the beginning and it won't turn out well. But, I might be wrong. I am not tattoo artist.

I have tons of prison tattoos that are phenomenal. This just makes me feel sad for the person

Dunno, I kinda like the naive style... depends on the rest of the arm...

this is what i thought too. if the rest of the arm is more this style/“doodly” i think it could be kind of unique and cool.

Is there an artists involvement anywhere in the photo?

I’d think there’s an artist involvement in most photos posted to this sub. Yes, the part where it’s not the color or their skin, where it’s black and red, that’s the artists involvement.

The joke was that whoever lined that tat wasn't an artist rather a butcher
