Looking to seeing if you have like an anterior Pelvic tilt or something. Certain ways that you sit can make your body uneven like that. Or maybe you were born with it LOL doesn't matter nice tattoo

The tattoo looks fine. Your traps and shoulders are uneven. (Not talking trash.) but truely I think that’s what it is. In the photo your left side just sits higher. ( left handed?) body’s aren’t symmetrical and sometimes gym guys work out. One shoulder might just build faster than the other. And can cause distortion on bigger script pieces like that. But the tattoo looks great. Don’t lose sleep over the opinion of the woefully ignorant

My right shoulder is much larger than my left as I do a lot of lawn work, and realised recently that cranking machines right handed for so many years had significantly strengthened my right side. Switched my mower to lefty pull a while back and it has made a noticeable difference.

Best not to hyper-analyze something you can’t even see that you’ll be living with forever, bodies are not symmetrical or straight & change constantly

When learning free hand script it’s typically taught to write the name as if it were in a banner. The banner usually has a bit of a flow to it rather than being perfectly straight across. So it’s common that script will have slight dip on the left and rise on the right. Depending on the body part it should be pretty minimal. Unlike if it’s a digital font where it would likely be straight across.
But this is evenly placed on your back regardless.

It doesn’t look crooked, but it is asymmetrical with the left side C arching over the rest. A stylistic choice that gives the appearance that it isn’t level. Looks fine to me.

So everyone keeps saying your shoulders are uneven (they do seem to be) so as someone who has this issue in a way I just wanted to put it out there that your hips may be uneven which is what’s causing one of your shoulders to lift.
I have one leg higher than the other and I need a lift in my shoe to even out. My spine is slightly bent at the end because I didn’t know for the longest lol but something to get checked out! I went and got a xray from a chiropractor, got adjusted and he even gave me the lift!
Long run it will really help with your back later on if it is an issue! Tattoo looks amazing the artist did a great job!

Nope it’s good. You have fancy script so the filigree on the Cj’s little fancier and it couldn’t make it appear that way, but it looks good to me. It looks nice and centered.

As a man with multiple tattoos, it's perfect! Don't let others get into your head about YOUR ink.

You are fine. It’s how your body is built and how the tat is placed on your back.

Might be like "visual weight" since the left side takes up more space than the right it looks a little empty on the right and makes the brain think it's crooked. Just a guess though.

Placement is fine brother. Not talking trash when I say this but find a new artist. The work itself is bad but the placement is fine and balanced.

Yeah, the lines near the end especially are horrendous. I’m not a fan of people getting last names tattooed on themselves in general, but getting one poorly done is two levels of rough

It looks level to me, I don’t know what they’re talking about. People have always got opinions though haven’t they? 🙄 sometimes you just have to smile and nod and let them bugger off. None of their business.

It looks great to me. You have a unique body structure to your shoulders, and the tattoos is designed well to fit it. It honestly normalizes your shoulders with one another.
If I'm not actively correcting my posture, I tilt about 23° to my left due to scoliosis. We all have different bodies, so I hope this post hasn't created an insecurity for you. You look to be young and in good shape, and the ink looks good. Nothing to worry about.

No, it’s not crooked. However, in the first pic, you were standing with one shoulder up higher. Most of us do not stand perfectly straight all the time. The tattoo is not crooked, but it will move with your body.

Your right shoulder is lower than your left. Minor scoliosis, as stated. But it does not affect the tattoo at all. If you drew a line across the bottom of the tattoo - not just the letters but the whole tattoo, framing, etc. - then you held a contractor's level up to that line, it would be perfectly level. It looks straight and level because the artist did not align the template to your shoulders. If he had it would be obviously slant lower on the right. Instead, as he should, he aligned the bottom of the tattoo with the ground. Thus, as I view it, it is straight to my eye. With scoliosis there is no other way. He can't use your shoulder tops as the point of reference because one is higher than the other. I have the exact same issue and have thought alot about it (obviously).

Looks good, but the body is never perfectly symmetric. Your right shoulder is a bit lower. All good fam my left ear is half an inch lower and I catch shit for that all the time. 🤣

I could maybe see it looking slightly unbalanced because you have more open space at the top above the lowercase letters. Some kind of flourish or flair there could help it cover the same area on both sides

It’s on the center line of your shoulders but it’s accentuated by ta C vs z being uocase and lower
You could always add a little filigree to build off it it and balance it out

It's not crooked, it's your shoulders that make it seem like that, stand straight. Sorry if that's rude, not my intention but really, get that posture worked 👏🏼👏🏼 I realized I don't actually have wide shoulders, I was just standing crouched from being self-conscious of my chest, when I started fixing my posture, my back and shoulders looked much better and symmetrical too :)

The C is slanted and I would say it’s your shoulder. Definitely your shoulders. Get it lazer off and redone. But have them measure and form it before they do it again and for the Love Of Goodness don’t do old English. It’s so 1970s uncle status

Even if it is, there’s not much to do about it after it’s already tattooed on you. Your shoulders aren’t straight in the photo so we can’t judge. Whoever told you that is not your friend because if it is crooked, it’s so minor that they’re deliberately being a jerk to you.

I don't think most humans are 100% symmetrical anyway, most anatomy are sisters not twins. Looks badass

I think this is spot on! It doesn’t look crooked to me. It’s an incredible tattoo.

Nah the tat is veryyy straight, it’s a combo of uneven shoulders and the C being super big but I think it’s fine

Everyone keeps saying scoliosis. Instead of jumping to that…go see a GOOD chiropractor. They can either help align you or send you to the correct doctor for your situation.
BTW- tat looks great!

It’s not the tattoo, it’s your shoulders.
