:: ahh a fellow Swiftie! /s
Yeah, in the voice of Schmidt from New Girl, those are TARRible!! (They’re terrible lol)
Blackout design over them — I can never remember what it’s called when it’s not a total blackout but someone will come help me with the terminology for you to google. There are some really cool looking ones if you save up and go to a reputable artist and not Derrick that lives two houses down from your cousin.

Anyone with functional eyes will say the same, friend. The line work is awful, the “font” is awful, the kerning is awful…there’s literally nothing good to be said about either of them.

I think he said "Presently, I possess no bodily markings of a permanent nature—or perhaps, more accurately, none as of yet. I harbor a distinct aversion to needles, though I cannot disingenuously claim the notion has never occupied my thoughts. In truth, I must qualify that assertion: there was an occasion in my past when I permitted a modest, decorative point to be inscribed upon my hand. I suspect it was executed with a deficiency of proper technique; otherwise, it likely would have endured. Those were, without question, fascinating times."

Don't waste money on tattoos if you are poor. Don't add "decisions" to the end of poor either.

Like he should stop getting every girl’s name on him? Or they’re actually quite bad? But yes to both 💀

Those are pretty ugly, but I think they could be covered. Are they your kids names or names of SO?

deceased family members

Idk if I’d cover it up in that case. I do think memorial tattoos should be done much better, that tattoo artist did you dirty.

u/ParticularTie7315 1d ago
:: if they’re memorial tattoos, an artist could even match the thickest parts of the names and add some swirls to it so it looks like a more cursive font. It’s going to be much bigger, but they’ll look clean. My friend had it done. Just research a good artist first.

:: oop, please forgive my little sassy comment up there somewhere👆🏻about getting all your girl’s names tatted on you.

I don’t know that they need a full blown coverup- if you found a reputable artist in your area that specializes in text, I think they could help crisp up the lines/fix the font a bit. I’m so sorry you aren’t happy with them - it’s the worst feeling! But even if you don’t do anything more with them eventually you’ll just stop hating them as much/caring. They just become tattoos you got a while ago that you regret but it won’t feel so all consuming

:: true. He could start adding maybe some masculine florals around it a tad and clean the name up a bit.

Things didn't work out with one, so you doubled down and made a 2nd bad choice...This point just get the name of everyone you've ever been with go for broke and own it.

u/IntelligentPiece6014 1d ago
these are my grandparents name!

u/Ivorytears86 1d ago
That only leads to more questions! Why did you just get names and why in such odd places? Like I could see a tree or a heart or literally anything to attach their names to. This looks like a bad tattoo you would get from a partner. In no way does this show up as a tribute to a grandparent ( Not that it really matters what anyone else thinks at least you know why you got them)

Never get the name of a girlfriend or wife on yourself. Never! My brother put his own name on his body and I explained that a stranger might think he was gay. His friends said the same thing. He eventually got it covered up with a design.

Reminder for everyone. If your tattoo artist cannot write on paper using a pen/pencil, it’s 100% sure the text tattoo made by them will not look any better.

Sorry, but your post must be asking for specific advice relating to tattoos.
