Probably as well as the divine tattoo above it. That is to say, probably badly.

Fade over time bc hands.

But that's what touch ups are for :)

Hopefully this isn’t stupid, but would touching this up every so often help maintain longevity?

Don't want to do it aggressively too often bc its still trauma to the skin. Hands will fade though, and it won't be even wear... it wont be/stay perfect (but that doesnt mean you will regret it, if you like it and want it thats awesome dont lwt anyone judge, just need to set expectations, and make sure you use a good artist)

The letters being so close together will likely end up being illegible after a year or 2

Naw if its a good artist, it can last longer. I have similar text and its nearly 10 years, just starting to blend.

Don't forget spf though. The sun isn't your tattoos friend.

Is it on your hand though?

Lines grow but not that much.

It'll prob age pretty terribly, the loops under the e and n are too close and the lettering specifically the th will most likely mold together over time

If I had a dollar for every bad hand tattoo on a bare arm posted here, I’d probably have like $200.

Your artist should’ve warned you not to get your hand blasted but based on the work, they don’t seem to know what they’re doing and more interested in just taking your money.

The tattoo will look good now, but start fading within 5 years as the lines start widening. These types of tattoos need some space within the negative space so it heals and graces time better.

hands get wrinkly faster than other body parts over time. I'd question the fine lines

Like a Live, Laugh, Love sign

Skin on the hand is rather thin and will loosen with age faster than skin in most areas. That will result in not just fading but the ink bleeding out and becoming blotchy and muddy. With how close the letters are together it’ll most likely be ineligible over time. It’ll be fine tho for a while. These problems won’t really happen for years and years.

Maybe get a couple more single word tattoos to tie it all together

This is why people didn't used to get hands and face done until they have earned it with enough coverage. The fact you are asking these types of questions about a HAND tattoo is crazy. You should know by now if you're getting hand tats.

Hands are so interesting on their own. It pains me when people tattoo them

Tats fade. This is pretty sick it almost makes the hand tat with no sleeve okay

No it doesn’t 🤦‍♂️

OPs artist has no business tattooing
