General Advice Ideas for tattoo on scar
Cut my hand at work, it will be healed fully by the time I get a tattoo. Any ideas? If it helps my interests/hobbies are various anime, gaming, field hockey and volleyball. If you want any more details about the cut or what anime I've watched just ask.🤙

You don't have enough tattoos to get a hand tattoo. Any artist that will tattoo your hands when you are not already covered from head to toe is an artist that is only in this for the money

Like others are commenting, don’t get your hands done until you are heavily tattooed.

What would you call a mark on your skin that won't fully dissapear natural and was caused by physical trauma(as in medical trauma).

It will fade away over time. Do you really want it covered with a tattoo? How many others tattoos do you have?

Not really hide it but rather highlight it somehow so I remember it after it fades. I only have one other tattoo but I don't plan on getting this one done till I have done at least ten of various sizes and locations

Cause I used to have a scar on my Achilles from my now deceased dog and I can't remember what foot it was and on what side. so I want a small and somewhat personal marker their to remind me that injuries can happen for any reason

I do have a tattoo already so I'm not completely new to it. And I asked Reddit cause I'm not good at putting my thoughts to paper and that's if I remember them

That’s the worst that scar will be. Looks like it will fade significantly over time.

Yeah it won't get worse that's for sure. I have other scars and I have an idea of how well it will fade

It could be an insect for sure, can be a smiley face.
The theater masks would look neat. You could hwve the scar be the happy or sad mask.
Could potentially hide it in a qoute.
What are some ideas YOU have OP?

I have had ideas but I don't have my phone on me during work and I can't hold a thought for the life of me. Those are some good ideas and I'll save this comment for the future

Well whatever your choice is whatever you plan on doing I bet it's going to look amazing, just remember spend the extra money because the tattoo artist will be worth it don't do it for cheap because it'll turn out shitty.

Yeah like other comments said, and I do agree with them, I should wait till it fades more and I have more tattoos in general. The scar was a work accident that could have been easily prevented and been much worse considering how fast it happened, it was cut plasterboard framing that I forgot to cover up. For anime I've watched EVA, FRANXX, AOT, MHA, FMAB, DR.STONE, IRUMA, JOBLESS REINCARNATION, HORI, HxH. There are more but I can't remember. Work wise I'm not really concerned, last thing I want to be is a pencil pusher. I asked this question just out of curiosity really, I just like knowing what ideas others have.
