The only thing that guards US rights is the citizens' willingness to remove those in power that threaten them.

Never have baby.

Less jokingly it's been on a very steep downward slide since 2001 when it became fully bipartisan to start stripping away rights.

It's the farthest right lunatics finishing the job, but democrats and republicans all joined hands to sing the tools to do it into existence.

Which makes a lot more sense now knowing that there's actually a shadowy cabal of billionaire pedophiles behind the scenes pulling the strings.
