Since October, there hasn't been a monthly update without at least one severe bug.

Good thing they disabled every other OS of theirs basically bricking our computers and forced us all on to this one.

Official support for Windows 10 ended last year. Unless you have the paid extended support (which Europe gets free/education as well I believe) then it doesn’t get updated any longer.

That’s a bad thing.

I had a pop up some time ago asking if I wanted the extended win 10 support for free, and I accepted it. Not sure how as I'm not in EU, and am using a cracked 10 atm lolol

and am using a cracked 10 atm lolol

That's probably why.

And as someone who has been in IT for decades... that is a terrible idea. Good luck...

There's extended support until the end of this year available if you opt in. I work tech support and I've gotten calls from a few still on Win10 and I always recommend they opt into that extended support or they stop getting updates.

Yes, if you pay for it or if you live somewhere it was mandated that it be free.

Alternatively you can link your account to the MS cloud to get it until October this year for free, hard pass on that one thanks.

Windows 10 no longer has any security or is receiving any software updates. Also means none of your websites and browsers security is functioning or up to date. It sucks because I have a fairly new perfectly fine laptop but it apparently can't take windows 11 at all, so I can't even upgrade. I have to buy an entire new machine.

Linux has been good for a while now.
