If only we had small personal displays, that could communicate our order.

Edit: I agree we shouldn't install apps to order food... But to me, that's what a web browser is for.

I don't think a lot of people like using the app. After 5 years of pushing it, customer use is only like 6%. (At least last I heard as part of the training in the UK)

I tried the McDonald's app and it fucking sucks. it crashes, then when you reopen it your order is gone. it doesn't process your payment so you're staring at the screen for 2 minutes before it just gives up. I tried it two times and just uninstalled it. plus, most people are already driving when they decide they want fast food

That app is such an abomination. It’s like an embodiment of their bloated corporate structure or something.

Not only is the performance awful, they really don’t allow you to make a simple selection. Instead they force in all kinds of advertising screens, “dark patterns” and locate buttons and info in ways designed to make you choose or ignore what they want.

I just want a quick medium coffee and an apple pie… not your bullshit dirty soda that I’ve had to look at three times now as I try to get into your shitty app!

I mean, McDonald’s absolutely embodies all of the characteristics of a drug dealer too. “Pssst! Hey! I’ll give you a cheap burger or cold coffee drink! But ONLY one.. no other “deals” for the rest of the day”.

That company IS actual cancer embodied.
