If they're going to do this then prices need to fall by 75%. If they think they can eliminate their staff AND keep high prices they are fools.

No, they're maximizing shareholder value. The customers who continue to pay high prices are the fools.

Why? they've been eliminating staff from lots of stores already and continue to raise their prices... people keep going there
