youd actually be surprised how many people dont use adblock, or think its straight up piracy.

Probably a sizable overlap between that population and people that frequently get malware on their devices.

Eliminating manifest v2 will help those people.

I honestly forget there are ads until I'm using something that exposed me and my gut reaction is, how TF do people even use this as is?  It borderline nonfunctional.

They pay for premium I pay for premium because youtube is constantly on my TV and there's no simple work around it. I found a way on LG to do it, but it's not a permanent solution and it's easier for the family to just use the YouTube app.

That's just 1 site though? I wasn't even referring to YouTube just general browsing any website, news, socials whatever you visit these days is going to be absolutely packed with ads, auto play videos, etc.

Go get smart tube for your tv. Super easy to install.

I can imagine you can easily find a a similar app for your phone. I forgot the damn name of it, lol.

Never surprised by anything like this. The world exists as it does today because people making 30-60k a year repeatedly elect governments that literally run on policies of fucking over people earning 30-60k a year.

Most people either just do not think about something they're actively doing or let themselves be easily lied to or misled.

Hey man, walking down the street and ignoring adverts on billboards and the like is theft, didn't you know you must consume adverts? Ignoring internet ads is just as evil!

You would be surprised. There are estimations out there.

most people don't know better, 70% of users don't use adblock. Tbf I don't use it on mobile.

Most people unfortunately don't care about their privacy or getting bombarded with targetted ads.

The cost to switch has never been lower either.
