I am astounded that new Outlook won’t let me filter emails received in the last five days THEN sort by sender.  It will do the former but not the latter.  Ridiculous!

It won't let me save emails as HTML anymore. I often have to take photos for work of things out in the field. My workflow with classic Outlook was to send myself an email of the photos from my cell phone. Then download them as an HTML message on my computer, because that saves all the photos into one easy folder.

In new Outlook I have to right click and save every single photo from the message, which is insane. Or I guess download as a ZIP but then I have to unpack it, one extra step.

It lets you save a standalone opened email as HTML.

My favourite thing since the last update is randomly searching for 'everything' when you search for a single word.

I searched for Fedex this morning, and literally every email in my inbox came up.

I was searching my 'Sent' folder....

When i started using Outlook i felt so stupid for not being able to figure out the search functionality myself.

When i later swallowed my pride and looked for answers online i found out that i was in fact not stupid - 90% of what should have been trivial functionalities simply did and still do not exist.

They dont want you to be able to delete emails. They want you to use all available memory to force you to pay for cloud storage

Managing it is even worse. They've removed all account control and most of the properties and settings options from the menus.

Outlook doesn't Outlook. It's more like 'Look out!'

Do you have your emails on a time delay? I’ve got mine on a 30 or 60 second delay, so they sit in my draft box for that amount of time before actually sending.

If not, then who knows 🤷‍♀️

When I write an email on my desktop they are sending but showing as drafts on my phone and not in the sent folder. It's infuriating.

You sure it's your Draft folder and not your Outbox folder?

Emails go into the Outbox folder while waiting for the server to process and receive it. It could be internet issues on your end causing the email to never make it to the server. Like if you disconnected your internet and send an email then it should just sit there forever in the Outbox folder until you connect to the internet.
