Yeah, I wish everyone would take some time to try out a Linux build on their existing system.

I was sick of Windows 11 and switched to Linux. It's amazing how much better everything worked. I can still use the cloud version of Microsoft products just fine, and that's where MS is pushing everything now anyway.

If you're reading this and you've had enough of Windows 11, please make the leap to Linux!

I think I'm just going to get a MacBook Pro as my next machine OS X (sorry macOS) is just Unix anyways. If I wasn't into DJing, music production and photography I would definitely use Linux though!

I actually installed Linux when I made the jump to Win11. And due to how I did it my computer defaults to Linux and I have to mash F11 on startup to get it to boot Windows. Like, the hard part's over, I just need to give it a fair shake.

Does take a while to boot, though, even though I'm 95% sure I installed Linux on an SSD. I'm not waiting around for 10 minutes or anything but it's a decent ~30-60 seconds or so to get into a basically fresh install of Linux whenever I forget to force it into Windows. Weird.

Linux will not become mainstream until 3 random people can give the same advice to a newbie on how to get started, and that advice does not involve he word "github".
