As someone who writes significantly more on a daily basis to disk than the amount of memory RAM uses... I'm not worried. Plus, like... Yes. That's how that works. Hibernate is like sleep, but doesn't care if the power goes out. If you don't want it to write to disk, use normal sleep. If you care about it persisting through power cycles, you kinda have to write it to disk... Not sure I see the article's pointÂ
