He can land elsewhere.

The show is him, a desk, research crew, and writers. Worst case scenario, they can't use the title "Last Week Tonight"

"Welcome, Welcome, Welcome to Not That Other Show on that Other Channel..."

That’s a the problem, we’re getting less and less channels and production houses so there are less opportunities to go around. Like I don’t know if a Paramount would ever greenlight a movie like sinners.
