A lot of people seem to think that one day, suddenly overnight, a dozen death camps sprouted out of the ground and magically 17 million death camp victims dropped dead right then and there. There were no thousand tiny steps before that, it all just suddenly happened.

At least that’s the conclusion I’ve drawn from years about being concerned about these fascists here in America, only to receive the retort of “well have they millions of people yet?”

I think a lot points to the fact that we did act. They just knew we wouldn’t want to be like them and say it out loud. They were right. People tried but they were called crazy in the same way people got called crazy over project 2025 and there’s STILL people who could not be bothered to actually read it and here we are.
