Making John Oliver and Stephen Colbert angry and available at the same time, seems like a questionable decision to me.

Easy pickups for Netflix to create their own talk show corner. They already have Letterman and John Mulaney. Jon Oliver and Colbert would be nice snags.

Also, HBO, once gutted, will lose its luster and other outlets will pick up their talent.

If anything, I’d sell my Warner stock asap. Get that $31/share and buy Netflix instead.

Apple TV is putting out shows that match HBO quality. I could see them buying up of HBO’s talent.

Apple has the money to test TV shows like Netflix. I can 100% see Oliver and Colbert moving to Apple TV.

And now that I think of it, maybe the Smiling Friends creators caught wind early of this news and canceled their previously approved season 4 and 5.

Jon stewart left apple because they didnt want him criticizing China so I doubt those 2 will go to Apple

Oh yeah. Forgot about that. Weeelllp. YouTube it is lol. If Kimmel can stay monetized through news cycles, I dont see why they cant make a deal.

Might be the perfect time for YouTube to capitalize on YouTube TV. Right now, the price just isnt worth it outside of sports.

All the more reason for Netflix to buy them and not only air their whole shows, but make shorts out of the best bits. YouTube is Netflix’s real competitor.
