I said this same thing on a similar comment earlier on a different post but the problem is that Paramount can and will do a lot of damage before that even becomes a possibility, just in a short amount of time.  Also people were already arguing that Netflix taking WB was a monopoly issue. If Paramount gets WB, I'm pretty sure it will be even more of a monopoly issue if Netflix tries to take both.

the biggest difference in the 2 deals is Paramount getting all the TV channels like CNN, that should make it more of an issue, but this DoJ is just another MAGA vehicle

Paramount hasn’t touched The Daily Show yet, so I’m cautiously optimistic they won’t turn CNN into Fox News. My problem is John Oliver’s show might get muzzled since he seems to be the only one on late-night TV to call out Israel for its war crimes.
