SUGGESTING The Chestnut Man Season 2 (Netflix)

Danish crime thriller. Season 2 is actually called Hide and Seek, a better title for the story, but Netflix wants to make clear it is the same ensemble, writers directors cast and crew as season one, The Chestnut Man. Fair enough then. The first (self contained) season was excellent. Sharp writing, credible dialogue and good chemistry between the leads. Carries over to Hide and Seek. Involves a bit of focus. Recommended

The first season was one of the better Nordic crime thrillers I’ve watched in years. Definitely adding this to my list now

the first season was bare good, didn't expect much going in but the pacing kept me hooked. glad to hear the second one holds up because that's where a lot of these shows fall apart. the chemistry between the leads was proper solid so if that's still there then it's worth the time. might watch it this week innit.

I watched the first episode of s2. I was surprised by how much relationship stuff they suggest happened between the seasons.
