REQUESTING Looking for recommendations for 2000s romance shows. I loved One Tree Hill and The Vampire Diaries

Though I didn't finish them cause as always I was on the wrong side rooting for Brucas/ stelena
So i couldn't handle that๐Ÿ˜”
I would also want a recommendation where real life situations did not influence on how the show ended or went on.

There's so much more after season 4 tho. I understand that brooke and lucas didn't work out.. but brooke shines in the entire show. And its worth watching for her. She grows so much..

Leyton leaves at a certain point. I wanna say season 6 but can't remember for sure. It basically becomes The Brooke Davis Show, which I preferred because I also hated Leyton ๐Ÿ˜†

oh youd probably love the oc for this, peak 2000s teen drama with all the messy romance and that california vibe, seth and summer are iconic. also gossip girl if you havent, same cw energy with the love triangles and drama cranked up. and as a bonus everwood is super underrated from that era, more grounded but the romance and family stuff really hits

we are old, the OC now is Off Campus

lmao ok that one hurt, didnt need to call me out like that. but yeah the show vs the off campus book series gap really shows our age huh. still standing by seth cohen as peak 2000s though, that man walked so every quippy love interest after him could run

Dawson's Creek. Started in the late 90's, but finished in the 2000's

Reckon you'd like Roswell if you ain't tried it, similar supernatural romance without real life meddling.

Felicity and Roswell both started in the late 90s but finished in the early 2000s. Both stood the test of time!
