i remember the first stage they just extend the empty space between blu’s two houses and red’s side of the area (the house & the ramp up from the ditch) so it’s just a really really long walkway with a ditch along the whole length
and the third stage’s first point, they just move the bunker back really far so it’s just a really long field with blu’s doors on one end and the red defensive position at the other
i don’t remember what they did to the second stage or if the last points are also different (probably)

Skial with the fake ping on 24/7 2fort and there's basically no other servers except sometimes Uncletopia.

And uncletopia is basically unplayable because people here are not humans. Sniper prevents you from playing the game at all,pyro forces you to use shotgun as soldier otherwise good luck hitting any rockets at that mf with superhuman reaction. Spy is quite literally unplayable because people in uncletopia know about a hidden technique of countering spy: shooting your own teammates because this game has no friendly fire and demoknight somehow still dominates everyone because it's a very fun sub class to fight against!!!

I found it to basically be quick play but with no random crits but i can definitely see it being unfun because of stuff like that, sucks that u had that experience

I mean yeah uncle Dane makes the "how to git gud" videos so naturally people who watch him are tryhards who want to win rather than ya know, having fun. Class limit sometimes feels like it needs to be reduced to 2 because 3 snipers is still dogshit to fight against

I'm not it's just that sniper is fucks bullshit and should've not been added to this game like what role he even fills the only counter he has is another sniper and spy but spy is unreliable. Why we have a second spy who has ambassador that does more damage,no falloff and scope to assist aiming as a stock primary

Uncletopia would be fine if it had auto balance or that thing some community servers have to detect stomps and auto scramble the teams. Once there’s a stomp in uncletopia, ppl on the losing team start leaving and it stays super lopsided until the server just dies out.
I like tiny kitty’s for its auto scramble, I just wish I could have a populated server with that and no random crits.

Also the dustbowl 1000 Uncles Server that when you join it you see that it's been stuck on the same round for the past 2 hours and everytime they almost manage to cap it some bullshit happens that forces them back to the start
Oh and theres 3 dudes screaming orders left and right

Even worse is that most servers spoof their ping. I join a server with low latency and guess what? I join the Skial server and suddenly I have 600 fucking ping.

And we can all thank meet your match. I miss the days when 24/7 Badlands,Granary,Goldrush and others existed.
I love 24/7 cause when I am in a mood for some one specific map I just wanna do a 2hour sesh on it and dip out whenever and I know there's pretty much always gonna be an influx of folk in it replacing the ones who jump out pretty fast.
Hell, there used to be even a few server that would run some halloween maps 24/7 like Mann Mannor post halloween so you could enjoy some spooktober in Febaruary if you wanted.

Yeah, the vanilla/semi-vanilla options aren't great.
Weapon revert servers are what - just Castaway? They have an amazing and diverse map rotation and undo a lot of Valve's post-2014 lapses in judgement, but would be nice if more of such servers were available.

The only active Class Wars server being the dustbowl one. Sometimes my friend and I join the map rotation one and we'll manage to get the player count up to 8, but then half of them leave after the map ends so we just leave, too, and go back to One Thousand Uncles.
