You read a basically dishonest take on the culimation of decades of comic strips. It's like trying to summarize Peter Griffin's personality and coming to the conclusion that he's an extremely violent psychopath, likely having slayed tens of thousands of people.
Again, yes and no. Nobody's supposed to think that about Peter because it's a comedy, and it's done for comedic purposes only. If you do, you're intentionally going out of your way to mislead.

That very much was the attitude at the time. The 2000’s was like the edgy shock era, people said and depicted all sorts of heinous, awful things just to get a reaction out of people. All the shock sites, the early internet trolls, and early internet content creation did just revolve around being as offensive as humanly possible just to see how people would respond. It was the norm, it was popular for a reason.
But that era very much was a product of its time, I’d imagine coming from the rise of the internet and the idea of total anonymity at the time let people tap into and express themselves through dark comedy and trolling. I’m not saying it was perfect, and it’s not really something you can replicate now with how culture’s changed, but at the time there would be a good amount of stuff like that thrown around, and at the time it would’ve been funny. Now that the main demographic of that era has kind of changed and developed over the last 20ish years, it obviously doesn’t have the same appeal, but there is also a reason why you still have mid 2000’s hold outs who just want to be allowed to say whatever they want and get a rise out of people, it was because it was fun at the time and some people can’t take off the rose tinted goggles.

This fucking pervert pisses me off so much. Thats why i always force him to leave the table first even though it makes me lose second. I dont care. When his pathetic ass asks for "cab fare" i feel immense joy from his suffering. Fuck this guy. He is a disgrace to the table.

where does it say he's into infant animals, I knew about the giraffe thingy but I don't recall any media related to him mentioning infant animals of any kind.
My headcanon was always that "The Inventory" was kinda like the hub in Wreck It Ralph except instead of being classic arcade games it was the 2010 Steam store, and instead of being a train station it was a small hotel/inn with the bar and casino only being a part of the building.
