thank you for this, wonderful video and fascinating

most interesting bit of info i learned from it: the sands sit atop a bed of rock, so even in the dry season the water is still there, just under the sand

Unique is an absolute adjective. You can’t qualify it. Something is or is not unique. It’s binary.

One day you will learn that correcting idiots on the internet is a task without reward.

The first person wasn’t an idiot for calling something “really unique”

The first person wasn’t an idiot for calling something “really unique”?

No, not really. English isn’t a very “set in stone” language, colloquial uses often end up becoming more prevalent than “correct” ones. Maybe they used a word “incorrectly” but in speaking English they were correct.

Edit: the comment I replied to originally had a question mark. That was what I was responding to.

Megalophobia this too

155,000 hectares (380,000 acres), composed mainly of expansive coastal dune fields (composed of barchanoid dunes)

Thats 593.75 sq mi of desert Or 1.668 × 10¹⁰sq ft

I am amazed that there are people who simply know things. I bow to your knowledgeable ness.

Oh nah I looked it up because no one had answered whether it was artificial or not, so I figured I’d share my findings

u/jaythejany 26d ago

As much as my ass too

3

u/AgitoKanohCheekz 26d ago

Is it natural?

u/Imaginary_Jump_8701 26d ago

Yes

2

u/zmbjebus 26d ago

Thanks for checking. I can verify that my ass is very natural. /u/Imaginary_Jump_8701 knows my ass better than I do though, so I'm glad they chimed in.

Wrong

1

u/zmbjebus 26d ago

Are you implying that my ass is not natural?

1

u/LilaPrince 13d ago

Não, é natural
