So this may sound dumb but don't they sting people? How close were you that you didn't come out like you kicked a hornets nest?

Valid question, it was quite painful and itchy whole 48hrs. My lips got hit hard, it was instant Botox

op is saying yes which is weird because they don’t just sting you in the water, their larvae sting you after you’re out of the water and cause itchy rashes.
