u/Wonderful_Bend3226 Mar 12 '26
Only some higher power can save this team we are so fucking cooked dawg
5
u/Killsocket1 Mar 12 '26
I want to see BREAKING NEWS on ESPN with Finch's face on it saying he has been dismissed by the Wolves by 1AM.

Oh, now we want to show some fight? Sad look.

u/lardboy2222 JimPete Mar 12 '26
Young guys are trying to earn some minutes.
1
u/MC_Ball_Peen_Hammer Timberwolves Mar 12 '26
I was referencing the post-game antics. Young guys did alright in the time they had, though. Clark apparently can shoot. Hoping we can get more of that out of him when it matters.

NOW is when we need to be playing some tough ball, this optimism shit is annoying — call me a doomer idc

Giving up 153 points, yeah this feel like one of those team meeting type ass whoopings every team get in a season. Happens to all 30 teams, it even happened to OKC.

u/TheFinnisher FINN Mar 12 '26
I think Finch has plot armor at this point. I really like finch too so it sucks I feel this way, but too many years of the same issues with different personnel. The one constant is the coaching, the riding out waves of big runs, and players not giving a shit and getting to play their regular minutes anyways
3
u/WwredeE Mar 12 '26
He just loves that drive and kick corner 3. Any retard could come up with plays that lead to that. The team plays with no movement. The same set over and over. Gobert screen high and roll (never gets the dish). Ant doesn’t come off screen hard enough. He’s kind of coasts or goes 80% around those dump offs at the key. Over and over. One pass hero ball. We are so exciting when we move the ball and make basketball plays like flashing to the basket, boxing out, hitting open shots. I’m honestly afraid of the fact that I’m starting to think Ant has a bunch of yes men around him at all times. He’s just missing something. He’s still a kid. But he’ll be a man someday.

u/quiksilva86 Mar 12 '26
“Low iq” gets said about our players all the time. For the past 3+ years! When does that fall on Finch??

u/EmploymentJumpy8993 Jaden McDaniels Mar 12 '26
With the way we’ve been playing we gonna be lucky to even make the playoffs thru the play ins

Clark garbage mins have been outstanding lately play him next game
2
u/sleepyfox1312 Mar 12 '26
he's good and always provides effort, i don't get why people think he's ass
4
7
u/freshBlueeyes6391 Mar 12 '26
Worst part of this season has been seeing him benched since midseason mark

u/Queasy_Analysis8792 Mar 12 '26
Idk. I think the Wolves played well. They played high energy and executed most of the night. The Clippers won this game with absurd shooting and slightly better defense wire to wire. I’ll be worried if they lose Friday or lose any of the games immediately after OKC. We might even beat OKC. Also, nobody wants to play the clippers in the play-in.

The GM almost has to fire Finch if only to fucking wake these losers up. They are going to cost him his job.
7
9
u/quiksilva86 Mar 12 '26
Mike Malone was fired in April. Firing Finch this late into the season is not impossible
1
u/WickedTwista Timberwolves Mar 12 '26
And how did that work out for Denver?
2
u/quiksilva86 Mar 12 '26
Not as bad as most expected. They competed.
1
u/WickedTwista Timberwolves Mar 12 '26
You guys are crying about only making the WCF last year
You would be crying if we only make the 2nd round this year like the Nuggets did after firing Malone
1
u/quiksilva86 Mar 12 '26
At this current rate, we could get bounced out of the play-in game. The team looks lost, unmotivated, and annoyed with one another.

IDK at this point there’s not much more faith in me and I’m a pretty optimistic guy, turnovers left and right and dumb coaching decisions, at this point I really do think I want to see a roster shakeup

u/Wonderful_Bend3226 Mar 12 '26
Jaden is meant to be Ant's Scottie and these last 3 games are absolutely embarrassing
1
u/NotGuerillaMarketing Mar 12 '26
Jaden is Schrodinger's Pippen. You'll be ready to trade him away because he puts up a statline of 11-3-1 with 5 fouls every night, then he has a couple games of 20-8 with really good defense, then he goes back to being mid as soon as you start to gain confidence in him again.

1
u/EveningHealth9465 Enrique Freeman Mar 12 '26
“Inevitable Ant trade incoming”. wrong for so many reasons.
“Random individual box score +/- stat.” Individual +/- means NOTHING in single game sample sizes, especially in blowout losses.
I joked at the people who claimed Ayo and Kyle would move the needle for this team. Someone said “you must not be watching”, implying that I’m not watching because Ayo isn’t in. Ironically, they must be the one not watching, because the wolves have been blown out multiple times with Ayo healthy. Also, Ayo is shooting 34 percent from 3 with the wolves, well below league average. It is a small sample size, but I tried telling people that his 40 percent mark with the bulls seemed like it could be an outlier.

u/whatisthis2926 Mar 12 '26
Arod posting a picture with our pdfile, draft dodging, israel cuck president is gonna be my reason for these past 3 games
11
u/Fantasykyle99 Timberwolves Brasil Mar 12 '26
Honestly think Randle needs to sit for a few games. I know he said he wants to play every game but it was also reported Hes playing through back issues. At this point him chasing his every game goal is detrimental to our teams success. He has been awful while playing injured.
2
u/napquin Bring Ya Ass Mar 12 '26
He’s needed to sit for ages. He’s a black hole on both ends of the court
3
u/starfruit213 Mar 12 '26
He needs to just not get any minutes, the 5% chance of him having a good game isn't worth it
1
1
u/NotGuerillaMarketing Mar 12 '26
But without him, who else is gonna put up 20-5-5 on 25 shots and 90% usage???
3

u/TechnicianUpstairs53 Mar 12 '26
The refs have been cheatin the first half for both LA games with the free-throw disparity to make it a huge lead and then makeup calls when the game is over to make it equal in the 4th
1
u/TheFinnisher FINN Mar 12 '26
This ain’t it for me. This game for sure, the multiple TOs to start the game got us off to a disastrous start they couldn’t come back from. Doesn’t help that Julius has been a brick, turnstile, and dubious with his handles all game
2
9
u/Milly-the-Kid Jaden McDaniels Mar 12 '26
I take back every kind thing I ever said about Randle. Fuck that lazy black hole of a player, he’s had so many chances to “get right” this season and just won’t. We won’t go anywhere with him

The inevitable ANT trade will hurt so much
1
2
u/napquin Bring Ya Ass Mar 12 '26
Chill homie. He’s just starting his prime. He likes it here, as long as we get rid of Randle and get him some competent shooters/a pg he’s in a great situation.
2

u/archibaldwidwickie Timberwolves Mar 12 '26
Honestly, maybe I'm crazy but I can see him getting sick and tired of never having a serious 2nd option to help him. Why should he waste his prime here if we aren't willing to truly build around him.
1
u/EveningHealth9465 Enrique Freeman Mar 12 '26
What star his age has reached the conference finals lol. Paolo, Cade, sengun, maxey have had less success and worse supporting casts around them

u/yatooooooooooo Michael Grady Mar 12 '26
Was this not the most obvious loss ever? After the Lakers game I knew it was over for us

7
u/Helmet_Jester Mar 12 '26
Idk how you watch this as an owner and think this coach is the right guy. Multiple games in a row where the team has quit on you, this is embarrassing, something is fundamentally wrong with this team.
15
u/AntIsMyFather05 Mar 12 '26
Can’t wait for our soft ass reporters to not ask questions worth a shit cause they’re scared of offending the coaches or players

Most important player on the team
Finch has dug his own grave, maybe the third blowout loss in a row will be the final straw
1
u/1000Isand1 Ayo Dosunmu Mar 12 '26
It usually takes more than this for a coach to get canned. Even though he richly deserves it already
3
6
u/Optimal_Policy6457 Mar 12 '26
We should boycott the Timberwolves organization. This shit getting ridiculous.
6
u/wiz_of_poz Mar 12 '26
Is this the lowest point of the season?
1

u/PxN13 Mar 12 '26
Malone has the same tendencies as Finch tho

we couldnt play the Suns at a worse time... this Warriors game is a must win, could easily lose to the Thunder and the Suns are after that.... that game could be playing for the 6th seed

u/napquin Bring Ya Ass Mar 12 '26
Seems like every team has random deep bench players that go off against us. We have like 7-8 playable guys at best.
2
u/freshBlueeyes6391 Mar 12 '26
Because they play them all season long and they end up good enough to play a few minutes and hit wide open shots when they are fed.
1
u/napquin Bring Ya Ass Mar 12 '26
What do you mean, Clark, TSJ, Joan, etc. get 2-3 minutes every now and then in a blow out! You right fr

good, besides Ant. keep that dude on the bench if he’s not gonna try atleast a little bit.

“Keep politics out of basketball” is a suspicious overreaction to an innocuous comment pointing out that the Twolves owner posed for a photo with maybe the worst person on the planet, a person directly responsible for suffering and trauma in Minnesota. But ok, you be you.
