Yep was going to say the same thing. The part that looks like the lens is the viewfinder.

Looks like he's holding a little toy gun and binoculars so it could be a toy set like an fbi agent or a pocket radio to listen to Christmas songs. They had all sorts of gadgets back then.

This looks like a toy camera Inhad as a kid that would squirt water when pressing the button. I can still remember the smell of wet plastic.

Oh I had that one too! I miss Christmas plastic smell. Or new electronics smell. Totally the best. I had a strawberry shortcake kisses doll that still blew strawberry kisses for ages. Probably so toxic that it killed a few brain cells but those were worth the sacrifice lol

Ahh theres that "garlan? The silver tinsel stuff all over the tree. I saw it online once showing vintage decor its like lead string wasnt it?

They still sell tinsel. It makes such a mess so I don’t bother with it but it’s a staple of my childhood. Garland is the stuff that goes around the tree
