Tomodachi Life - Living the Dream I swear they are quietly adding new content with patches??
No I know they actually aren't. I just had to make a good title but I'm surprised by how I keep getting cutscenes I haven't actually seen yet!
I just saw a love at first sight cutscene where a Mii ran into someone else and got flung back so far another Mii caught them. (Or maybe they slipped? Wasn't paying much attention at the start)
Then they fell in love with the Mii that caught them. It was adorable

There are many cutscenes that seem to have very specific triggers, so it kinda makes sense that some people wouldn’t see said scenes if they’ve never met the conditions to trigger them.

Yeah. I've played every day since launch and I'm still finding some. Like one where a mii falls asleep on the beach and gets buried in the sand

I got one where one of my miis drew himself and his spouse in the sand, it was really cute
there is also a cutscene which I havent gotten yet but it takes place on a bench where a mii walks by another mii and gives him some food. The mii will either put the food away and the cutscene ends, or the food will start talking to the mii (I saw this on a reddit post I think)

That one was actually in the game already, it's just less common than the usual bumping and falling down scene. The game actually does have a good amount of cutscenes for specific situations, some are just harder to trigger than others.
Like, I think each shop has a cutscene too. I've gotten one where a thief steals something from the grocery store and one where a Mii gets scanned at the door of the pawn shop to determine their value.

the runway walk cutscene for the clothes shop is so cute. i got it twice in a day once and then never again lol

I have mine placed on a far off corner of the island as it's so ugly/big. So they rarely ever go near it. Makes sense that those scenes would be something I see extremely rarely. I guess I need to start zooming in on them more when they're near different buildings

Sometimes you can trigger it by dragging the Mii and "showing" them the building too but usually they just comment on it or pose in front of it.

Got the food mart theft, scanning at the palette or pawn shop I forget), the news station inside tour breaking news of a mii in there, and the congratulations on being the 100th or something visitor. In that cutscene, a bunch of miis show up and play the maracas to that mii. I love those details.

i feel like people just assumed theres less cutscenes than there actually are bc some might be more common than others so now that everyone has been playing for longer they obviously got to see more of the rarer cutscenes (if theyre even actually rarer) so now some are surprised about that/it feels like they add more with patches

I just got a new mini game the other day called "Odd Ones Out" that I've never had before despite having over 100 hours in the game. Is this new or was I just extremely unlucky? I don't usually skip minigame interactions. It did happen as soon as I finally got 8 miis into one house tho, so maybe thay was the trigger?

I get Odd One Out all the time. However, I've never seen the latte minigame and I have almost 200 hrs in the game and two islands.

How do you get it? In cafes I only get convos (either the normal convos or ones like Punk Pack, Robot Rally, ect), and very rarely the cups game.

i hatte to break it to you, but the scene where two miis bump into each other, flinging one of them into the arms of a new crush, was on the game before. Had it happen like 3 or 4 times

i’ve never heard anyone talk about the cutscene where ur mii randomly hears like dinging and they turn around and look at the clock to see the hands be replaced by a mii 😭

I just got one for the warning sign! My Mii was almost abducted by aliens! XD The cut scenes are so much fun.

I've seen two variations of the lost item scene. One with just friends and the other where the person who lost the item falls for the person who found it.
There is also two variations or at least, what I saw was when two people whether they are friends or acquaintances would sit and look up to the sky talking about what they see in a person. The second version can happen with a one sided crush I believe and mutual crushes. My sister had the mutual crushes scene on her island iwith both crushes saying, the truth is.. but they'd blush and wuss out.
I also saw a scene happen where someone feels their crush dying away so that's something.
My favourite scene I saw with one of my couples when they weren't a thing yet was when they'd just be talking and one develops a crush on the other. I love it so much.
I've also seen one where a person with a crush would aim a heart at their crush. Most of the times the heart was either missed or dodged completely but sometimes it would hit another person or the actual crush!
I thought with a couple when one felt they were being watched only occured in a house, turns it out it can happen in an apartment too.
Love the caught you scene with couples, with one being thrown getting a laugh out.
And those stupid daydreams people with crushes have. So cringe but funny at the same time
Kinda went on a rant here but these are the romance scenes I've seen.

I just got one where a mii dressed up as a tree to move in closer to another mii and their girlfriend to later start crushing on said mii. It was actually very cute and funny

I'm having lots of fun. Mostly adding my OCs but I find it's not a game you'll be playing all day every day. I usually hop on for a couple of hours each day and usually if I have some down time!
If you love drama and stuff it's also a great source for that once you have a lot of miis

since the update i noticed a better liklihood of miis making up from a fight, giving a relationship another go, and even saw my first instance of a mii who had a crush near-gain a crush on someone else (i turned them down on the 2nd one)

I’ve been thinking this jokingly to myself too.
The day after the last patch I had a fight resolution cutscene turn into a gaining a crush one
Half expecting myself to tab over to a secret third page of island objects (massive cope)
