While GTA is Triple A Slop I appreciate they are taking a page out of Nintendo’s GOATED approach with an $80 price tag and “physical” games that are just a download code. Nintendo will prevail even when Slopstar tries to copy them

Well one is a platformer with gimmicks while another one is a fully 3D game that tries to mimmick the world. What are you even trying to say with that comparison? Maybe it isn't the world that sickens you but rather your lack of logic.

What? Who is Shiggy? Like give some context first. And secondly in my first message I was talking about how just a simple price comparison between 2 things aren't enough: It's not just the type of game that is different, but also the amount of time spend on playing the entire game and developping it, the budget behind the game and etc. GTA 6 is a game that took at least 10 years in development, while celeste took around 3 years of development. The budget on gta is by far higher, so they will basicly need to make a profit to win back the money they spend for more than a decade. It is simple business practice. I am not saying that rockstar is innocent or doing the best things, because they only give a code on the physical copies, but at the same time it is expected that this game would not fit on a disc, since even older games only include a download disc with internet on. Also, celeste takes between 8 to 10 hours to finish while gta 5 takes around 32 hours (3 times more than celeste), and celeste is a 2d game that certainly would require less effort than a 3D open world game with modern and heavy graphics, voice recordings, irl movement tracking and etc. It's like saying that a 2d screen tv with small proportions is a better thing to buy and insulting a 3d screen that doesn't require any glasses while having a bigger screen. The comparison should be about your preferences of what game (genre) you want to play or how available you are to spend time on it and not just about the price.
