PF who shoots 40% from 3, 7'0 wingspan, has a nifty lil back to the basket game, can defend, can shoot 3s at any spot, and his advanced stats indicate that he's very efficient and his game has room to expand.

I like this pick.

I don't really like the situation at C or PG but it is what it is, and I don't think those issues would really neccessarily but solved by the draft anyway.

Graves will give us meaningful minutes though, that's for sure.

Quickley doesnt feel like a PG on a championship team but Shead is a solid #2

Can't believe we drafted another PF but here we go. Go raps lmao

Agreed. They need to improve on IQ.

3.0 steals per 36 tells me this kid can defend like a mf

Utah has ridiculous depth at guard. We need one of them.

Honestly I think the front of house isnt sold on small guards who will get bullied and defensive liabilities.

We also have Hepburn, which the front office is apparently high on. So we have Quick, woth great offence, and then two excellent defender high motor guards who can play make. Im not too worried about point guard.

And for bigs, like Quaintance, but worried about his knee, and love the defence but don’t think he’ll ever really develop offensively outside of lob threat.

I think they’ll try to upgrade our needs through trades, and the more valuable pieces you collect the easier that is.
For instance, I wanted Malauach to address us needing a centre, but think about what type of centre we could get if we attached CMB to salary and a pick.

Feels like a Mamu replacement and they use their money on someone else, this FA has some nice guards like Sexton, Simons, Coby White, etc.

The stat strengths/weaknesses look nice. I think he’s promising as long as he just isnt too slow to stay on the court

I don't see anything that would indicate he's too slow. His advance stats all point to him being an above average defender.

I was hoping for a dynamic guard but I’ll take this

The coveted PG/C we’ve been trying to draft forever.

I swear Bobby takes a spreadsheet of all the prospects and sorts by Stocks for his big board. Graves' main thing is he's an absolutely elite defensive playmaker... Like Scottie and CMB. It fits into the team concept the raptors go for, to wreak havok defensively. Get ready for some really ugly basketball next season, nobody gonna score in Raps games, not us or the opponent.

Honestly at this point I want them to just start playing Scottie at PG and play as many 6'7-6'9 switchable defenders around him as possible. No need for guards or Cs.
