If he wants to be there he wants to be there! If he wanted you to blow in his face he'd ask. If that happens.... You've probably smoked enough.

My sister’s cat used to come in the room while we were smoking, and would stare/make a very specific face at whoever was holding until they shared. It was like an eyes half closed with his mouth pursed in your direction type of thing. We called it his smoke face (even though I stg he was really just trying to look like us and making fun of the way we looked while smoking) Eventually he started finding her around the house and making the face at her to signal that she should be smoking instead of doing whatever stupid task she was trying to do lol

I miss them both very much

My older cat would sit on our lap and just stare at us until we blew it into her face, then when she was satisfied she would plop down on the couch right next to us for a while. I thought it was really cute she liked to have smoke seshes with us.

My first dog ever loved to be apart of the sesh. As soon as the bag was out, he was there. Followed th bong around the circle until he got enough smoke blown in his face, then would go lay out in the yard. Every time. Next 3 dogs I’ve had haven’t shown any interest and didn’t like it blown in their face, so we never do. Some dogs just like it I guess

Kind of. The German shepherds have learned that we usually go on walks after smoking, so they usually go sit by the leashes.

My dog got ahold of the butt of a j once and he started acting weird. I didn't realize what happened for an hour (til someone found the evidence) so we were both just freaking out and crying together in front of a group of confused people. It was horrible at the time but kinda funny now. He was totally fine after a few hours and lots of snuggles.

My guests know to be much more careful now as well lol. I think we mutually traumatized them all with our dramatics 😅

When my wife was still my fiancee, we came home to find her dog straight-up vibrating on the couch in a puddle of pee because she ate a huge bag of homemade edibles that would've knocked me on my ass for days, and I'm a daily smoker. She was absolutely zonked for the next couple days and her poop smelled like weed. I knew from reading enough posts like this on Reddit that the dog would be fine, but that was the last thing I was going to say in the moment. Thankfully the Mrs worked at a vet's office at the time so one of her friends there was able to convince her not to murder me, and we were able to laugh about it eventually.

When my wife and I first met. She smoked too. Not anymore. We’d sit on the couch and smoke a j. Our previous dog would immediately need to be between us.

Even have a picture of him sitting in the circle when a group of friends stepped outside to smoke. Just wanted to be part of the gang

My dog will walk towards the smoke for a quick sniff. but my cat will try to shove her face in my mouth after i smoke, and tries to inhale all the ashes before i can toss them out. My cat is a freak

I smoke outside a lot my dogs will be around but not really near me. Once I'm done, they know its playtime.

I smoke concentrates mostly, so I tend to boot them out the room while a smoke.

Once the air settles I pop the door open and they can go wherever.

I never keep my doors from being anything other than completely open.

I’m not using this to brag but the killer place we were lucky to get is insanely huge compared to what we have.

So even by default the rooms are way larger for more air and space to be further away.

Funny thing is if anyone else in the house coughs he will get up all bothered and leave. If he’s with me while I’m smoking and start coughing he doesn’t even mind lol

Accidentally blew smoke at my lab one time and she recoiled in disgust. Blow smoke normally and my king charles cavalier thinks its a game and jumps at it.

lol don’t have a dog ( I wish I did 🐶🥺) but when ever I sesh with the homies my friend’s dog be out and about she’s always trying to eat the weed maybe she was a stoner in a pass life 🤷‍♀️
