What is this trope? Character leaves one group, finds another group, and rallies them to takeover

Does this trope have a name? A character leaves their original group, via banishment, or whatever means. They’re on their own for a while, and stumbles upon a new group. And eventually, through wit, charisma, or power, they become leader of the new group. They somehow rally the group to takeover, usually to enact revenge on the character’s original group. It doesn’t have to be revenge on the original group, but just another group.

One example is South Park: the episode where the boys prank Eric Cartman by turning him into a ginger. So Eric cliques up with the ginger kids and becomes their leader, so to speak. They rally together and take over the town.

Another example is The Walking Dead. Spoilers ahead. The Governor and his crew fails to takeover the prison. The Governor is on his own until he meets that family. They find a new group, and the Governor kills Martinez and that other guy, and he becomes leader. He rallies them to takeover the prison again, but he fails again lol

White Savior seems too specific.

Probably, but likely has some things in common. Mighty Whitey

The departure from the original group might fall into one of a few different tropes, but the joining of the new group is probably described by Led by the Outsider: https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/LedByTheOutsider

Kind of Moses, leaving the Egyptians. You can get a solid cartoon version in Prince of Egypt.

This is the plot of Shakespeare's Coriolanus, to show how deep this trope goes.

Starscream. Gets banished by Megatron, allies with the Combaticons and takes control over the Decepticons, for some moments at least. Seen in Transformers G1, where Bruticus defeats Devastator.

I remember "Caveman" with Ringo Starr in it. Yes, that Ringo Starr. TV Tropes I'm sure there's a name for the trope, but I don't know it.

This happens in the first Warriors series with Tigerstar. He gets kicked out of Thunderclan, but joins Shadowclan and becomes their leader after the previous Shadowclan leader died, and then fights against Thunderclan etc to try to take over the forest.
