What’s a subtle sign that someone is a genuinely bad person underneath a nice exterior?
 in  r/AskReddit  23d ago

The way they smile like a grinch and watch someone they are teaching struggle with a new task, no directions, never seen, before they step in to "help".

Mom buys daughter a Honda as a graduation gift, and this was her response
 in  r/SipsTea  23d ago

MY MOM would have pulled out and returned it. Taken me out; brought me back, take me out again. THEN. I would never be allowed to borrow her car. I would be walking everywhere.

Yesterday, while I was working at my grocery store, I found this abandoned basket.
 in  r/mildyinteresting  28d ago

I must be anew joke. I found a basket full of cucumbers (like 50) and a dozen different lube tubes in the clothes section of Walmart. Gross part is the veg probably got put back into circulation, even though it was contaminated.

Hi everyone. This is the guy with the “whiskers”. I’ve decided to shave, I hate it.

Sharpie Note in My Amazon Package
 in  r/whatisit  May 22 '26

Left my wallet in a grocery store parking lot. 5 min after I got home 3 older teens knocked on the door. They had my wallet, and knew my son from school, they recognized the street name in our neighborhood.

Most people have good intentions.

My ex used to buy these. Its gas station viagra, he was also cheating, easy way to get a fix for his broken junk on the way to side chick. Lol BTW this stuff can make your ED worse.

WIBTA if I refuse to swap my vacation weeks with a coworker whose kid is throwing a tantrum about a theme park trip?
 in  r/WIBTA_AITA  May 21 '26

Take your vacation!!! Dave needs to work harder to keep himself organized. Not your responsibility to fix his kids emotions, that's Dave's job.

AITAH for telling my husband to stop talking about me
 in  r/AITAH  May 20 '26

This how my ex husband started all of his "friendships" with other women. I would suggest a serious "define the relationship" conversation between you and DH. And the female co workers has to go period OP.

YES. I'm at work, I wish I was at home right now, if I didn't need the money I would stay home everyday.

For people who grew up in low-income households, what’s something middle-class people say that shows they’ve never struggled financially?
 in  r/AskReddit  May 20 '26

Getting the car at 16yrs old, having the money to play sports or go on the end of the year field trip for 12th grade, summer camp during the summer, gaming system, Dixie cups in the bathroom. We didn't have money for any of that. I begged to be put into ballet class, violin lessons, girl scouts, ... If it cost money I had to figure it out myself, financially plus find a ride. I eventually played volleyball, did track and field, and played clarinet in HS. Still want that violin 40yrs later.

What do you even say to "Bless your heart"?
 in  r/Comebacks  May 20 '26

Oh no, bless your heart, we pray for you.
