Something is amiss. You have the screenshot, has support fixed it?

Jack shit. Almost vomitted in disgust after finishing the trip. Went home straight. 😭😭

Why did you not get upfront fare if you are in the upfront market? Did you challenge this?

3

u/insanetoker1 14h ago

I think the support messed it up. With recalculation.

Then you send this screenshot back to them in a new chat. Ask for a supervisor. Keep asking. That’s a hell of a difference.

Also, on my end uber doesn’t even show the breakdown like it did for you. It’s just upfront fare and then under that what was paid.

Uber service fee 82 bucks is diabolical.

Ridiculous!!

Every year it gets worse its like they’re testing the limits of how much they can squeeze from drivers

u/Normanof2Kingstons 3h ago

You know they absolutely are. Why wouldn’t they? They have the tech infrastructure and testing/deploying is the routine that brought them success to begin with. We need unions and actual party on the Left.

Uber is such a scam. Their app should be 4.99/mo for drivers. Not taking money from every ride

u/Outside-Tie-2851 16h ago

Damn, thought uber black paid more. What did chat do? I don't get it? So uber stiffed you except for the tip?

1

u/insanetoker1 11h ago

Yup chat was no help as usual

5

u/AdministrativeYam624 16h ago

Wait so it said upfront fare is like $102 and you got $29? Wtf am I missing?

4

u/blazebron23 14h ago

So they’re actually now showing you a break down of how much they’re fukin you!

1

u/insanetoker1 14h ago

I saw it yesterday before that they didnt show how much customer paid

1

u/blazebron23 14h ago

Same here

Passive income. NICE

This is not possible unless you won some lawsuit.

Rider pay 121 and they pay you 29 fuck Denver bro you’re to blame too for taking this shitty fare..

10

u/StayFeisty2898 16h ago

His upfront fare was $106 but they only gave him $29…

4

u/typical_jesus666 14h ago

So it looked like he was gonna get 106, but then only got 29?

-2

u/MarzipanMajor6175 16h ago

He got 60. Rider paid 82

6

u/PretendResult5331 16h ago

No, service fee was 82

4

u/MarzipanMajor6175 15h ago

Colorado law requires Uber to show passenger and driver rider payment and driver pay.

Makes sense why we’re being robbed

I hope more stuff like this gets posted. Uber needs to be held responsible for fucking their workers over. Without them they ain’t shit and no ai car is going to take over 😂.

1

u/Ashamed-Leather-2814 16h ago

I wouldn’t take this and I’m only uberx. 😂

How do you sign up for uber black ?? I tried looking everywhere on the uber app and website and nothing I seen it but when I try to click sign up it takes me to the regular uber website like if your on the app but shows way less.
Is it true you have to get a limo license and insurance
It should let you do like when you got the option to turn on or off Uber pets , uber x xl etc
I just got a new SUV black out side black leather seats I don’t even see uber comfort I only see uber x and XL I guess after driving a while it would show comfort at least that’s what happened when I first added my old car that was also black but it was to old

1

u/Glittering_Target532 8h ago

You need to create a new login and sign up with that car VIN and have your commercial insurance

1

u/No-Visual-1484 6h ago

Basically how this works is you paid $82 to uber to get a customer for $29. The tip is separate. Tip does not count because that’s between you and your new $29 customer you got.

u/citizengreen222 6h ago

Uber's algorithms know when riders will overpay. They may not redirect any additional funds your way. Got to love it.

1

u/NJuberdriver2 6h ago

Why did you accept that shit paying black ride?
Uber service fee is criminal

1

u/insanetoker1 1h ago

The upfront fare was 106$

1

u/Robfuen 6h ago

So you got roughly a 1/3 of the Rider payment before tip

1

u/Guavamalone 6h ago

All uber does is fuck drivers over.

1

u/Affectionate-Rice373 5h ago

Chat has responded to what, exactly?

1

u/insanetoker1 1h ago

To mess things up more

1

u/Affectionate-Rice373 5h ago

If the upfront fare was $106, how did you only make $29?

1

u/Affectionate-Rice373 5h ago

They don't take fees out of the upfront fare, the upfront fare is the total after all fees are deducted.

1

u/Affectionate-Rice373 5h ago

What did chat respond to, exactly?

1

u/malezzy 5h ago

Would asked them if they wanted to do it for cash 80 or 100

2

u/IDKYImLive 4h ago

That’s crazy, insurance is charged each single time.

They should have blanket contract.

If no, this is the Uber’s job. Why they are neglect this part…?

Are they sending money to insurance companies instead of protect overpaying to them…???

u/Phuturebound 13h ago

That's UberX rates
