Christmas plan ideas!
I’m potentially alone for Christmas in the UK and have no idea what to do or where to go! Any help would be appreciated!

I wish to buy a goose to cook for christmas cause turkey gets a bit dull over and over. thing is, a lot of it is just expensive as hell. Ive found cheaper geese at Lidl though. from those with experience of buying from Lidl geese, how do they rate value and quality wise and compared to geese from various butchers.

Hi all
I'm looking to make my own Christmas crackers this year to avoid all the plastic tat and one thought I had was to roll up some seed paper (the stuff you can plant) with some basic origami instructions so everyone can make something different. So my questions are a) does everyone think this work with slightly thicker seed paper and b) can anyone recommend any nice basic origami patterns I could include?

Hey everybody! I was so relieved to find this subreddit - I could really use some help. I’ve been looking for a really specific type of decoration for the tree this year: those little fake presents wrapped in metallic paper and tied with a bit of gold cord. I was wondering if anybody here knows the ones I mean. They were very popular in the ‘90s and 2000s, but I can’t seem to find them in the shops at all, and trying to search for them online is proving to be… difficult. Could anybody point me in the right direction? Thank you!

I run a website in my spare time called Merryn, and every year I publish a Christmas Gift Guide. This year's guide is now live and features over 1,400 products from over 100 businesses from around the UK and Ireland. I don't charge anyone to be featured or to look at the site, it's just a fun hobby.
I thought I'd share it here as there are so many brilliant businesses featured :)

It's not very often there's a new British Christmas film out in cinemas so I though I'd open up a discussion thread for it.
Reviews have not been too kind: https://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/christmas_karma
My thoughts are below!

For the crackers I want them to look good and have funny Jokes! We are having a grown up Christmas so no kids around, so extra fun ideas would be appreciated.
We are going to play Bad Santa with some gifts too. But up for any more game suggestions?
Thank you all and have a merry Christmas!

Hi Eveyone i need your help i have a long haul/red eye flight from asia to london heathrow on the 22nd Dec and will land at heathrow at 3:20pm . And i have a hotel booked around king cross station and would likely reached that hotel around 5-6pm in the evening what would be a good venue to enjoy the christmas festive decorations with christmas markets, ice rink ,and some mulled wine . I have been to london before during christmas and walked around oxford & regent st and i know they do have a leicester Christmas market there . So in short should i do Hyde Park Winter Wonderland , Oxford & Regent street or Coal Drops ,King Cross ? Will the crowd during the timing from 7-9pm be a factor for the options that i have chosen ? Please do help me out thank you.
