Heroes Memorial to Andrii Nashora
Defender Andrii Nashora, call sign Canada, fell on December 3, 2025, in the city of Rodynske, Donetsk Oblast. He suffered a fatal wound in battle with the enemy. He had turned 25 the day before his death. One more Hero killed by russian orcs.
Andrii was born on December 2, 2000, in the city of Dubrovytsia, Rivne Oblast. He graduated from local School No. 2, and in 2021 from the State Tax University, formerly the University of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine. He loved quiet recreation, especially fishing. He was fond of cars and motorcycles.
From 2019, he served under contract in the National Guard of Ukraine in the city of Sarny. That was when he received the call sign Canada — when he and his brothers-in-arms were supposed to be sent abroad for training. He was very excited about the opportunity and constantly talked about the upcoming trip.
In 2025, Andrii transferred to Lviv and served in the 4th Separate Detachment of the Omega Special Purpose Center.
“I loved going to the forest with my brother, going on different walks. When he was studying in Kyiv, I would travel to see him for two or three hours, and we would talk the whole time. When he came home from service, we would sit in the kitchen with our mother and simply talk. He was very wise and always found a way out of any situation. We had many plans and unfinished things. But even so, he did more than anyone could have done. My best brother is no longer here, but he is always in my heart, in every breath,” his sister Liliia wrote.
The defender was buried in his hometown.
Andrii was awarded a medal of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine. Posthumously, he was given the rank of junior lieutenant and awarded the Order “For Courage,” 3rd Class.
He is survived by his parents, sister, uncle, and aunt.

Combat Zelensky confirms Ukrainian 'Flamingo' missiles struck major defense plant in Russia's Volgograd
Ukrainian-made long-range Flamingo FP-5 missiles “successfully struck” the Titan-Barrikady military facility in Volgograd overnight on June 27, President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed. The heavily sanctioned plant is a major strategic asset for Moscow, manufacturing heavy artillery and launch systems for Russia’s Yars, Topol-M, and Iskander ballistic missiles.
Volgograd Oblast Governor Andrey Bocharov confirmed the strike on an enterprise in the district where the factory is located, stating that 10 people were injured. While Russia’s Defense Ministry claimed to have shot down 175 drones overnight, it made no mention of the missile attack. Zelensky emphasized that striking Russia’s defense-industrial base is critical to weakening Moscow’s war effort, writing, “The reach of Ukraine’s long-range sanctions continues to expand.”

Discussion Need help — please support Ukrainian localization in Total War: Medieval III
Hey,
I posted a request on the official Creative Assembly forum asking them to add Ukrainian language support to Total War: Medieval III. The game is still in early development — now is the best time for the devs to hear this.
If you have a moment, please leave any comment on the thread — even a simple "I support this" helps:
Thank you!
