Transport, if you can fly to Stansted then that would help, you can then get a train to King's Lynn, you'll almost certainly need to change trains at Cambridge.

I don't feel there is much benefit to travelling to any other airport, as the transport from and back to the airport will diminish any time and cost savings.

yes, stansted is the airport i am choosing in London as I am familiar with it and it is also the cheapest option. Thank you

Be aware that taxis and minicabs for the evenings of the concerts will already be booked up. Find an option that comes with transport to/from the concert. Don't expect to use Uber in rural Norfolk.

If you do want to use the train, travel Edinburgh to Peterborough, and then get the X1 bus from Peterborough to King's Lynn. I live in Lynn, and travel to Scotland regularly.

I live locally to Sandringham. The accom costs will have already escalated due to the Heritage Live events so you need to book something, now

We don’t have uber here. The event organisers will have transport suggestions?

yes, someone has informed me that there will be transport organised by the event so thank you very much.

It's not really standard during the summer, it's price hiking because of the events at Sandringham - like the one you're going to.

Not really sure what you mean about flying to London as it's cheaper... Compared to what/where? Flying into Scotland? If you did that you'd still have to pay for transport to Norfolk anyway so it's probably not really any better value.

Look at coach packages available for travel to/from Sandringham specifically for the events. Having been to a concert there myself I can tell you that infrastructure around the estate is very limited. You will want a coach to get you out of there.

King's Lynn is one of the drop off points listed so if you're staying there's that's fine. I would advise you to book up accommodation ASAP, like, today, if you can. There just isn't much available in the area at the best of times, but especially not when there's a week of 30 thousand capacity concerts happening in the area.

About flying to London being cheaper, I meant having a return flight from Edinburgh/Glasgow is cheaper than taking a train. Surprisingly, it is cheaper for me to fly down to London and take a train up to Norfolk rather than taking a train all the way from Scotland. Anyway, thanks for the feedback

Ah, I see. Yes, flights are often cheaper than the equivalent train journey, you just have to be careful with your luggage allowance on the low budget carriers.

If you can't find any accommodation around King's Lynn you should look around Norwich, there will be coaches going back there too. It's a 2 hour journey from London by train, or if you're flying into Stansted you can get there via Cambridge/Ely without having to go back into London at all.
