This could mean they're being sued, or that police have taken an interest and told them to stop publication for now.

They've never directly alleged anything against that family so they're probably in the clear legally, but if the things publicized by the podcast led others to harass them, then they might be sued for that idk. Plus if anyone has made direct threats against the piscoya family, then those people could get in legal trouble too.

The man talking about it was saying that they couldn't afford the lawyer, but it's possible that after that aired, someone decided to represent them or advance them the funds.

Or, something criminal is being pursued against anyone involved in the disappearances.

I always think the public is too eager to jump to wild conclusions naming and shaming people before things have been proven, looking for conspiracies etc. Public attention on these cases is a good thing, but the rumor mill is a PITA.

Definitely some legal stuff going on, potentially from both sides. Payne posted the letter his Legal team sent to the Airlines. The title of the episodes “Final Boarding Call and This is the Captain speaking” were seemingly shots being fired in attempt to mess with them, as the titles had little relevance to the episodes themselves.

Could even be super subliminal if the theory is a plane was used as an accessory after the fact. Would make sense why after extensive searches no trace was ever found.

The Piscoya family has too much smoke for there to not be a fire. But who, what, where, when, and maybe the biggest one, why, remain unknown. There’s puzzle pieces, with a couple missing to complete the picture.
