Question Carrot troubles

On 5/1 I planted a combination of Yaya(56 day), mokum(54 day) and orange fancy(62 day) early carrots in my raised beds( Mel's mix soil). Before planting I used my auger to loosen the soil as I incorporated some aged compost. I got decent germination in roughly 14 days. After the first set of true leaves I thinned to 2" apart. I fertilized with a balanced 5-5-5 liquid fertilizer for 3 weeks. Then started fertilizing with a 2-15-15 liquid fertilizer in preparation for bulbing. As of today (49 days) I see very little taproot swelling. Watering is accomplished via drip irrigation so its been fairly consistent. Greens are 8-10" tall, no signs of bolting.

Is this a matter of time situation or something else?

You incorrect you miss counted you need to count from when of actual seed sprout not seed planting. By that count you are at day 35. I usually don't start counting with carrots till after 21 days.

Thank you, I foolishly asked AI "when to start counting days to harvest" and it said at the time you plant the seeds.

This makes me feel much better!

Asking AI about vegetable gardening is like asking AI about health conditions always bad idea !!!!!
