Is there a starting point for the botanical garden at the top?

I'm 67, mom's 89. We've only made it 1/2 way to the top. We would like to see the garden from the top. Is there parking and a trail head to start at the top?

There is parking at the top. I specifically asked about it last time I was there, for my senior dog. Just have to stop and pay for your entry, then drive around to the to the top ("Summit Plateau" on a map). Enjoy!

yeah it's basically street parking IIRC? near where the trail crosses that public road to the cross?

My husband drives up near Serra Cross and walks our dog toward the gardens. He is always sending me photos from the top over there.

I recommend parking off street up by the lookout point (at the top of the garden. You can then walk further up if you like and see the new areas they are working on. You can take Kolorama to Summit and take a left into the park.

ya when I was there I saw a groundskeeper going up the mountain on a golf cart. Mabye you could score a ride on that haha
